- AZAmanda· July 21st, 2025This trip was fantastic. I experienced many things that I would never have thought possible. I went beyond my limits and was also able to show courage, which will help me in life. I would like to mention a few points of criticism here: - There was a videographer on the trip. It was obvious that he almost only filmed women who had skinny/beautiful bodies. This was a strong trigger for me and prevented me from fully opening up to the group. Unfortunately, I was only able to do this in the last few days of the trip. - The programme was very packed, which meant that some programme items were rushed. It was great to discover so much, but also very exhausting. For me was the monkey forest not a highlight just because we didn't have time to spend there. That was sad because I was looking forward to seeing the monkeys. - On Gili T. we had a “free day”. Such a “free day” would be also useful in the first week because there is a lot going on. - I hiked up the volcano. When we got back, we had just enough time to eat and shower, then we went straight to the coffee tasting and the rice terraces. We had to climb a lot of stairs on the rice terraces. It was too much for me in one day. Alternatively, there can be a rest for 3 hours after hiking and then go coffee tasting. You could then visit the rice terraces and walk around a little less. The combination of all these physical activities was a bit too much for me. Bapo is a very attentive and friendly tour guide. He is very approachable, which made communication much easier. In case of issues (for example, I needed help because I still had ear pressure after the dive) Bapo helped immediately. I was allowed to borrow his ear drops and he came with me to the pharmacy. I would particularly like to emphasise that Bapo organised our return journey on his own. We didn't even have to ask him. It worked very good. Incidentally, all the transfers during the trip went smoothly. In general, I am extremely happy that I did this trip and was able to experience all these wonderful things. Gili T. was gorgeous!! Hotels were good, especially the last was completely luxurious. Our tour guide Bapo was totally funny and we had a great time with him. He spreads each day good vibes.
