- Day 1
Baltra to North Seymour
You'll land at Baltra Airport and head straight to your boat. That afternoon, the boat takes you to North Seymour Island where you can spot Galapagos sea lions lounging around, blue-footed boobies doing their distinctive dance, land iguanas, and magnificent frigatebirds going about their day.

Santiago Island
Three different spots on Santiago Island fill your day. First is Espumilla Beach where marine iguanas hang out and Sally Lightfoot crabs skitter across rocks, plus there's solid snorkeling. Next you head to Buccaneer Cove to check out the old pirate site and those dramatic cliffs with seabirds. By late morning you're at Egas Port where Galapagos hawks and lava lizards live, and you can explore tide pools and grottos before snorkeling again.

Isabela Island to Fernandina Island
Morning starts at Tagus Cove with its historic anchorage and walking trails that give you views over Lake Darwin. From there you move to Punta Tortuga's mangrove-surrounded beach. After lunch, the boat heads to Fernandina Island's Espinosa Point, one of the planet's most untouched places where flightless cormorants, Galapagos hawks, and massive lava fields dominate the landscape.

Isabela Island
Two sites on Isabela Island make up your day. You start at Urbina Bay at the base of Alcedo Volcano, where a dramatic uplift in 1954 actually expanded the coastline and left marine life stranded on the new shore. Later you reach Vicente Roca Point with its two spectacular coves where you might spot seahorses, sea turtles, and the unusual mola-mola fish.

Bartholomew Island to Sullivan Bay
Bartholomew Island is first, where you climb stairs to an extinct volcano's summit for those great island views and you see the famous Pinnacle Rock. The beach here has good snorkeling and chances to see Galapagos penguins. Afternoon takes you to Sullivan Bay where you walk across a recent lava flow seeing the black pahoehoe lava landscape and pyroclastic cones.

Chinese Hat Islet to South Plaza
You start at the small Chinese Hat Islet near Santiago Island's southeast coast, checking out lava tubes and flows. Then in the afternoon you move to South Plaza with its steep cliffs, dense Opuntia cacti, and colorful yellow and red land iguanas. One of the largest sea lion colonies hangs out here, and you'll notice the Sesuvium plant shifts from green during rainy season to bright red when it's dry.

Santa Cruz Island
A bus takes you into Santa Cruz Island's lush green highlands where Scalesia trees cover the area. You'll walk through underground lava tubes that stretch over half a mile. That afternoon you visit the Fausto Llerena Tortoise Center to see giant tortoises at different ages, part of a long-term breeding program the Galapagos National Park Directorate and Charles Darwin Foundation have run together since 1965.

Santa Cruz Island to Baltra
Bachas Beach on Santa Cruz's north shore is your final stop, a swimming beach with old World War II remnants including a U.S. floating pier. You'll look for flamingos, Sally Lightfoot crabs, hermit crabs, black-necked stilts, and whimbrels. Sea turtles nest off this beach too. After that, you get a transfer back to Baltra Airport to head out.
