- KGKerrie· May 25th, 2025Our cycle through the Provence area was amazing. Our tour guide, crew on board, food, bikes and overall attention to the needs of everyone on the tour was so good. I had some doubts about my ability to do the ride (being a social rider mainly) but it was very manageable. Every day we rode through rural France we saw small villages, olive groves, fruit orchards, amazing views and then it was topped off by a tour or tasting somewhere just for our group. Highly recommend.Show moreTrip date: May 2025
- MLMarc· July 17th, 2024This was a great tour. Our guide, Helmut, and all personnel were competent, pleasant and friendly. The group was a lot of fun, and the tour itself was lovely. We saw lots of nice countryside and lots of historic sights and visited a winery and an olive pressing business that provided great insight into these two businesses. The electric bikes were easy to ride and I highly suggest them to anyone in my age range (60s). Being such a small group on board helped get everyone to become friendly. Great trip!Show moreTrip date: June 2024

- BBBruce· July 8th, 2019Very good crew who went out of their way to keep us happy and lovely travel companions. Great sights on the bikes and the bikes themselves very good. The boat is very comfortable and the rooms very small ( which we were forewarned). Our guide made sure there were many options both day and night to see extra. I was disappointed she lost people on 2 days, particularly as someone was hurt on one of those days. The food was very good with variety each night. I think everyone was pleased with the tripShow moreGirolibero - Cycling holidays commented on this reviewHello Bruce, thank you very much for your feedback! Asked on January 29th, 2025I have a booking with bike and barge tour, departing Saturday 10th May. I have a query about my own limitations that may occur on the tour? I suffer from migraines from time to time. If i have one and don't feel up to joining the group for the day, is it OK to stay with the barge?
- Girolibero - Cycling holidaysOperator•Written January 2025
I confirm you that if you are not filling well for the cycling stage, you can stay aboard and navigate with the crew.

Asked on May 15th, 2024What is it like if they decide to stay on the boat for the day? Are there meals etc?
- Girolibero - Cycling holidaysOperator•Written May 2024
There would not be any problem for them to stay on the boat during the day. I would, however, need to check the spaces on the boat for your husband's trike and just so that you have all the information, the spaces are tiny and there are stairs going down to the cabins so I would also have to check if this would be manageable for your husband.
