Itinerary
- Day 1
Baltra to Santa Cruz Island
You'll touch down at Baltra Airport and get transferred to the Bonita Tourist Superior Yacht for the start of your trip. After settling in, the afternoon takes you to Dragon Hill on Santa Cruz Island, which is a conservation site where you can spot land iguanas roaming around. There's also snorkeling at the rocky shore if you want to get in the water and see what's below.

Santiago Island
Three different spots on Santiago Island fill your day. Morning starts at Espumilla Beach where marine iguanas hang out along with Sally Lightfoot crabs, and you'll snorkel to see octopi and moray eels. After that, head to Buccaneer Cove to check out the steep cliffs and seabirds, plus learn about the British buccaneers who anchored here centuries ago. In the afternoon, Egas Port at James Bay comes next for spotting Galapagos hawks, lava lizards, tide pools, and fur sea lions, with more snorkeling in another good area.

Isabela and Fernandina Islands
The morning takes you to Vicente Roca Point on Isabela Island's northwestern coast, a large bay loaded with marine life like seahorses, sea turtles, and the unusual mola-mola sunfish. Diving and snorkeling are both excellent here. Later in the afternoon, you'll head to Espinosa Point on Fernandina Island to walk through untouched lava fields, see where flightless cormorants nest, and look for Galapagos hawks on the pristine terrain.

Isabela Island
Two spots on Isabela Island keep you busy. Start your morning at Urbina Bay near Alcedo Volcano, where a dramatic 1954 uplift pushed the coast out half a mile and created really interesting conditions for snorkeling. By afternoon, you'll reach Tagus Cove across from Fernandina Island, a historic ship anchorage dating back to the 1800s. Trails lead up to Lake Darwin, and the views from the area are quite nice.

Isabela Island
Morning at Elizabeth Bay on Isabela Island's east coast shows you a scenic bay with numerous islets you can reach by dinghy. Penguins and blue-footed boobies sit on rocky islets while you snorkel among colorful fish, sea lions, and possibly sharks. The afternoon shifts to Moreno Point on the west coast for birdwatching along striking rocky shores and lava rock trails where tide pools, mangroves, and potentially green sea turtles or white-tip sharks can be found.

Santa Cruz Island
This morning takes you to the Fausto Llerena Tortoise Center, a joint program between the Galapagos National Park and Charles Darwin Foundation focused on saving giant tortoises. You'll see tortoises at all different stages, from hatchlings to adults. After lunch, a bus ride takes you to the lush green highlands of Santa Cruz Island to walk among majestic Scalesia trees and explore underground lava tubes, some stretching over half a mile long.

Santa Cruz Island to Baltra
One last stop at the Fausto Llerena Tortoise Center in the morning lets you take another look at the giant tortoises and see the conservation work happening there. From there, you'll transfer to Baltra Airport to catch your departure flight home.
