Fes
You'll arrive in Fes and head to your hotel to check in. After settling into your room, take some time to relax and get ready for the days ahead. This gives you a chance to adjust to Morocco and prepare for exploring the medina starting tomorrow.

Fes to Midelt
Start with a traditional Moroccan breakfast, then walk through Fes's UNESCO-listed medina with a local guide. You'll visit Al Quaraouiyine University, see the Bou Inania Madrasa, and check out the historic tanneries where leather is still processed by hand. In the afternoon, head toward Midelt by driving through Ifrane and the cedar forests near Azrou, traveling through the Atlas Mountains as the landscape shifts around you.

Midelt to Merzouga
Travel through the Ziz Valley passing palm groves and ancient kasbahs scattered throughout the region. You'll go through Erfoud, which sits at the gateway to the Sahara Desert. After reaching the Erg Chebbi dunes, transfer to your desert camp by 4x4 or camel depending on what appeals to you. Have dinner with the camp staff and settle into your private tent for the night, sleeping under the stars.

- Day 4
Merzouga to Ouarzazate
Leave the desert camp early as daylight breaks and travel toward southern Morocco's most scenic regions. Stop at Todra Gorge to see the dramatic rock walls towering above, then move through Dades Valley, known locally as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs because of all the ancient fortresses and lush oases dotting the landscape. You'll arrive in Ouarzazate by late afternoon.

Ouarzazate to Marrakesh
After breakfast, visit Cinema Ouarzazate to learn about Morocco's film industry, then head to Ait Ben Haddou kasbah to walk through this historic mud-brick settlement. Later, cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tichka Pass before reaching your accommodation in Marrakesh.

Marrakesh
Have breakfast at your hotel, then spend the day exploring Marrakesh's main historical and cultural sites. You'll walk through the Majorelle Gardens with their striking blue buildings and desert plants, see the exterior of the Koutoubia Mosque, visit the Saadian Tombs, and tour the Bahia Palace with its intricate zellige tilework. After your guided tour ends, either head back to your accommodation or transfer to the airport depending on your flight schedule.
