- Zachary· April 30th, 2025Clarification on item 2.No music played entire trip, driver was in separate cabin so did not hear most requests. No music requested by passengers was played however, driver and cook played their own music and spoke in native language to each other loudly in front cabin which I found rather rude. There were 5 passengers most of who would have preferred to listen to music. [Chameleon Safaris Namibia replied: Please kindly be advised that on the pre-departure information provided for, it is stated that we will not play music during the safari as it is difficult to select/choose a genre that can accommodate everyone in a vehicle.]Show more

Chameleon Safaris NamibiaOperator•Written July 2025At the moment, the tour you mentioned is scheduled to start in Windhoek and end in Swakopmund, and unfortunately, we do not currently offer the reverse route (starting in Swakopmund and ending in Windhoek) as a standard camping departure. However, we do have an accommodated safari option called the Sossusvlei Express, which departs from Swakopmund and joins a group tour, depending on availability.

We do have space on our 3-Day Sossusvlei Budget Camping, which departs from Windhoek every Monday and returns on Wednesday (so that will be between 14 to 16 October 2024). The price remains N$9,000 per person sharing, and I currently have 4 seats available on that date.

We pickup and drop off at the Windhoek International Airport only. You will be collected from your accommodation within the Windhoek city limits at 09:00 and transferred to Chameleon Safaris HQ for a short pre-departure meeting.
