Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport where your Himalayan Adventure Treks & Tours representative will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Once you've settled in and met the other trekkers on your group, head out to explore Kathmandu's busy markets and cultural sites at your own pace. Dinner is on your own this evening, so you can take your time wandering the city before heading back to rest.

- Day 2
Kathmandu to Pokhara
You'll spend the day driving from Kathmandu to Pokhara, which takes about 6 to 7 hours and covers roughly 200 kilometers. The route takes you through green countryside, past terraced fields, and by small villages. When you arrive in Pokhara, check into your hotel and then explore the temples, palaces, and markets in the evening before settling in for the night.

- Day 3
Pokhara to Kande to Pitam Deurali
Start the day with a 1.5 hour drive from Pokhara up to Kande at 1,750 meters elevation. From there, you'll begin your trek to Pitam Deurali, which takes 3 to 4 hours and covers 3.5 miles through dense forests and open areas. You'll catch views of the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre as you go, arriving at Pitam Deurali around 2,100 meters.

Pitam Deurali to Forest Camp
You'll trek from Pitam Deurali at 2,100 meters to Forest Camp at 2,500 meters, a 4 mile hike that takes 5 to 6 hours. The path climbs steadily through thick rhododendron and oak forests, and you'll get glimpses of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South along the way. Forest Camp, which locals call Kokar, sits in a quiet, remote spot surrounded by dense woodland.

Forest Camp to High Camp
Today's trek goes from Forest Camp at 2,500 meters to High Camp at 3,600 meters, covering 4.5 miles in 5 to 6 hours. The trail gets steeper as you move through rhododendron and oak forests that gradually thin out into alpine terrain with dwarf bamboo and juniper. You'll see Machhapuchhre, Mardi Himal, and Annapurna South from clearings along the way, and arrive at High Camp in time for sunset views.

High Camp to Mardi Himal Base Camp to Badal Danda
You'll hike from High Camp at 3,600 meters up to Mardi Himal Base Camp at 4,450 meters, a steep 2.5 mile one way trek that takes 3 to 4 hours over rough terrain and grassy alpine meadows near the snow. You'll have views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre. After spending time at the base camp, you'll descend back to High Camp to rest, then continue down to Badal Danda at 3,200 meters, another 3 to 4 hour descent with shifting views and clouds moving across the ridges.

Badal Danda to Siding to Pokhara
You'll descend from Badal Danda at 3,200 meters down to Siding village at 1,600 meters, a 4.3 mile trek taking 4 to 5 hours and mostly downhill through forests, terraced farmland, and local villages. You'll experience the hospitality of the Gurung people in this quiet village. After reaching Siding, it's a scenic 2 hour drive back to Pokhara through terraced hills and river valleys.

- Day 8
Pokhara to Kathmandu
The drive from Pokhara back to Kathmandu takes 6 to 8 hours along the Prithvi Highway, covering about 200 kilometers and passing through lush valleys, terraced fields, rivers, and mountain views. Once you're back in Kathmandu, you'll have time to relax before heading to a traditional Nepali restaurant for your farewell dinner, which includes authentic food, live folk music, and cultural dance performances.

Departure from Kathmandu
A Himalayan Adventure Treks & Tours representative will come with you to Tribhuvan International Airport, arriving about 3 hours before your scheduled flight. You'll complete your final check in, go through security, and handle any last minute tasks before boarding your flight out of Nepal.
