Itinerary
- Day 1
Santiago
You'll land at Arturo Merino Benitez Airport and head to your hotel by private transfer, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you've checked in, the rest of the day is yours to explore Santiago on your own. There's plenty to see if you want to get out: San Cristobal Hill for city views, the Bicentenario Park if you're in the mood for green space, Costanera Center for shopping and dining, or the charming Bellavista neighborhood with its colonial architecture. Santa Lucia Hill and Downtown Santiago are also nearby if you have energy left after traveling.

Santiago City Tour
Your private driver picks you up for a 6-hour tour of Santiago's main sights. You'll see La Moneda palace, walk through Plaza de Armas, and hit both Santa Lucia Hill and San Cristobal Hill where you can visit Castillo Hidalgo and the Holly Virgin Statue. The Providencia neighborhood shows a different side of the city, and you'll catch live music and street food like sopaipillas and mote con huesillo along the way. Costanera Center, South America's tallest building, gets a stop too. By evening you're back at your hotel.

Isla de Maipo Bicycle Tour and Wine Tasting
This full day starts around 8:30 am with a private bicycle tour through Isla de Maipo, about 3 hours of riding through tree-lined paths alongside the Maipo River. You'll pass by wineries like de Martino, Santa Ema, and Terramater while learning about the valley's history and how Chilean wine gets made. After biking, lunch happens at a villa by the river with traditional food. The day wraps up with a guided tasting of three premium wines at one of the vineyards before heading back around 6:00 pm.

If you want something different, spiritual yoga sessions are available too. Evening astronomical tours happen if that appeals to you. Most things can be booked ahead or arranged once you arrive.

A typical 3-course Chilean lunch breaks up the day, then you transfer to Valparaiso for the night.

Pack your towel, sunscreen, and swimsuit for a sunny day in the water or on the sand.

From there you head to the kitchen in Cerro Mariposa near Museo a Cielo Abierto and La Sebastiana. You'll prepare dishes like pebre, empanadas de pino, sopaipillas, palta reina, ceviche, charquicán, pastel de choclo, paila marina, plus pisco sour cocktails and desserts like leche asada or alfajores.
