Angkor Archaeological Complex
Your guide picks you up at 8:30 AM from your hotel to start exploring Angkor's temple complex. You'll begin at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, then move on to Bayon Temple where you can see the distinctive stone faces carved into the towers. From there, you'll check out Baphuon and Phimeanakas, followed by the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. The morning continues with a walk through Ta Nei, a jungle temple surrounded by vegetation, before heading to Ta Prohm (known as the Tomb Raider Temple because of the movie filmed there). After grabbing lunch at a local restaurant around midday, you'll head to Angkor Wat, the largest temple complex on the grounds. By late afternoon, you'll make your way to Phnom Bakheng Temple for sunset views over the area before returning to your hotel.
