- AAnonymous· May 10th, 2025Jeferson at Responsible Travel did a fantastic job helping me plan my itinerary. Every question I asked in Australia was answered within 24 hours in the planning phase. Ecuador is incredibly diverse but my itinerary covered many different ecosystems, pretty towns, amazing national parks and visits to indigenous communities which was amazing. When I needed a slight alteration to the schedule, Jeferson was flexible and wherever I went an amazing guide was ready to show me his area with huge local knowledge. Every transfer was organised. Nothing went wrong because I was in capable, professional and caring hands.Show moreResponsible Travel South America commented on this reviewHello Alison! Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're happy to know that you had a fabulous experience in the Ecuadorian Mainland. It’s wonderful that you enjoyed the towns, national parks, and visiting indigenous communities. The Andes and... Asked on February 23rd, 2025Can you give us some examples how a vegan breakfast will look like? Do you think that also the rest of the meals along the road can be easily choosen to be vegan? Or do you think we have to choose vegetarian to not go hungry to bed?
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written February 2025
Our providers are well-prepared to accommodate vegan and vegetarian diets throughout the trip. For breakfast, a typical vegan option could include fresh fruit, granola with plant-based milk, avocado toast, bread with jam, or oatmeal with nuts and seeds. Some places may also offer vegan pancakes or smoothies. We work with experienced local English-speaking guides, so for other meals that are not included in your itinerary, he will happily recommend vegan-friendly in each place you visit, including salads, quinoa dishes, rice and vegetable stir-fries, lentil or bean-based meals, and plant-based soups. While the options may vary depending on the location, there will always be something available to meet your needs. You won't have to switch to vegetarian unless you want more variety, but rest assured, you won't go hungry.

Asked on May 28th, 2024I am still unsure as to what is included travel wise. If it easy to get from jungle experience in Ecuador to Lima? Or to fly from Cuesco to Lima? I would be very grateful if you can send more details on what is not included regarding travel and activities
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written May 2024
It is very easy to get from the jungle experience in Ecuador to Lima, upon arriving back from the Amazon you will overnight in Quito and the next morning you will hop on a local flight from Quito to Lima. In regards to your connection from Cusco to Lima, there are several daily flights connecting these two cities, so it is also very easy to book!

Traveler•Written May 2024So I need to book flight from Quito to Lima and from Cusco to Lima. Do I need to book from Lima to Cusco?
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written May 2024
Once you book the trip, I will set up an Expedia link with all the flights that you need to book on the exact airline and flight times, using Expedia for flights will allow you to save on unnecessary additional fees and taxes if purchased individually, this will make the booking process much easier.
