Itinerary
- Day 1
Tangier to Chefchaouen
Your guide picks you up and you'll drive through the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen, taking in the mountain scenery along the way. The town itself is famous for its blue-painted buildings and narrow streets. Once you arrive, settle into your riad and spend the rest of the day walking through the medina, checking out local crafts and hopping between rooftop cafes.

- Day 2
Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes
After breakfast, head out to Volubilis to see the Roman ruins and learn about Morocco's archaeological past. From there, drive to Meknes for lunch and explore the old medina on foot. You'll walk through the Bab El Mansour gate and visit Moulay Ismail's Shrine before driving on to Fes, where you'll check into your riad for the evening.

- Day 3
Fes
Spend your day walking through Fes on a guided tour of the medina's narrow alleys. You'll pass by the Royal Palace gate and wander through the Jewish Mellah quarter, then see Al Karaouine University and the famous Tanneries. After lunch, head to a tiles cooperative to watch craftspeople work, and finish with a stop for views looking out over the entire medina.

Fes to Merzouga
Leave Fes early and drive south through the Middle Atlas, passing cedar forests and the town of Ifrane before reaching the Berber village of Azrou. Later you'll cross the Ziz Valley and continue toward Erfoud, then take a desert trail into Merzouga. Watch the sunset from a camel before settling into a Berber tent camp for the night.

- Day 5
Merzouga - Tinjdad - Todgha Gorges - Ourzazate
You can catch an optional sunrise camel ride across the dunes if you're up early, then return for breakfast. Drive through Rissani and Tinjdad on your way to Todra Gorge, where steep cliffs rise 300 meters on either side. From there, travel through the Dades Valley to Kelaat M'Gouna, known for rose growing, then continue to Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight.

- Day 6
Ouarzazate to Marrakech
Start with a tour of Ouarzazate, visiting the Taourirt and Tifoultoute Kasbahs and exploring the film studios where desert scenes get shot. Next stop is Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient fortress that's been featured in major films. You'll drive through the High Atlas via the Tizi N Tichka pass and arrive in Marrakech by evening.

Marrakech
Your guide takes you through Marrakech starting at Jemaa el Fna Square, where you'll see food vendors, musicians, and all the activity the square is known for. Walk to the Koutoubia Minaret, then visit Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs. Grab lunch at your hotel, spend the afternoon wandering the medina, and finish with dinner at a local restaurant.

Marrakech to Essaouira
Leave Marrakech at 8 AM for the 170 km drive to Essaouira along scenic roads where you'll see goats climbing argan trees. There's an optional stop at a women-run cooperative for argan oil tasting if you're interested. Once in Essaouira, walk along the quays watching fishing boats, explore the medina with its local artists and craft shops, and have dinner with fresh seafood overlooking the Atlantic.
