Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Lima
You'll touch down in Lima and get transferred to your hotel in the Miraflores district. This gives you time to settle in and adjust to the local time after your flight.
- Day 2
Lima
This morning you'll head out on a guided city tour through Lima's modern neighborhoods and the historic center. After that, you'll visit the Larco Herrera Museum to see its impressive pre-Columbian collection. The afternoon is yours to wander around on your own and check out whatever interests you.

Lima to Arequipa
You'll head to Lima airport for your flight to Arequipa. Once you land, you get picked up and taken to your hotel. Later in the afternoon, there's a walking tour through Arequipa's historic center, where you'll see the striking white volcanic rock buildings everywhere. You'll also visit the Santa Catalina Monastery, which has a lot to take in.

Arequipa to Colca Canyon
After breakfast, the drive toward Colca Canyon takes you through high Andean terrain with views of plateaus where alpacas and llamas roam around. On the way, you'll stop at a local market in Chivay to get a sense of daily life there before heading to your accommodation for the night.

Colca Canyon to Puno
This starts early at Cruz del Condor where you can see just how deep Colca Canyon really is. With some luck, you might spot condors flying below. From there, you'll drive for several hours down to Puno, traveling alongside other tour participants.

Lake Titicaca
A speedboat takes you out onto Lake Titicaca to visit Taquile Island, known for its traditional knitting communities. You'll then head to the remote Luquina community on Chuquito Peninsula before making your way back to Puno, stopping at the Uros floating reed islands along the way.

Puno to Cuzco
The full-day bus ride to Cuzco involves traveling with other tour participants and includes a stop at La Raya pass, which sits at 4,335m and offers mountain views. During the journey, you'll also visit Viracocha Temple and the Church of Andahuaylillas. If you prefer, there's an option to take the Titicaca Train instead for a different experience.

Cuzco
Take a leisurely morning to rest up and explore your surroundings. By mid-afternoon, your guide picks you up for a walking tour through Cuzco's historic center. You'll see the cathedral and the Koricancha Sun Temple, along with other significant sites that shaped the city.

Cuzco to Aguas Calientes
The morning focuses on the Maras salt mines with their brilliant white pools. After that, you'll check out Moray with its unique round, terraced amphitheater-like formations. In the afternoon, there's time to tour the fortress ruins at Ollantaytambo before heading to the train station for your late afternoon departure to Aguas Calientes.

Machu Picchu
An early shuttle takes you to the Machu Picchu entrance. You'll have a guided tour through the Inca Citadel, exploring its remarkable setting high in the mountains and the precision of its architecture. In the afternoon, you'll take the train back toward Ollanta and Poroy, then continue on to Cuzco.

Cuzco
You have the entire day free in Cuzco to do as you like. If you want structure, there are optional activities available including a half-day tour to nearby Inca ruins or a full-day trip out to Rainbow Mountain if you're up for it.

- Half-day tour to 4 Inca ruins near Cuzco (€135 per person, minimum 2 people) - visit Sacsayhuaman fortress, Kenko temple dedicated to Mother Earth, Puka Pucara (red fortress), and Tambomachay (bath of the Incas)
- Full-day tour to Rainbow Mountain (€250 per person, minimum 2 people) - 2.5-hour drive to starting point at 4,350m, approximately 2 hours of hiking to Rainbow Mountain (5,020m), viewpoint over Red Valley, return hike approximately 1 hour (offered April-December only, weather dependent)

Cuzco to Lima
You'll get transferred to Cuzco airport for your flight back to Lima, bringing your Peru tour to a close.
