- ASALISON· September 10th, 2025Our recent trip through the Serengeti was nothing short of magical — and the heartbeat of that magic was undoubtedly our guide, Ibrahim. Words can hardly do justice to the depth of appreciation we feel for the experience he gave us. If you're considering a safari in Tanzania, do yourself the greatest favor and request Ibrahim — he is, hands down, one of the most exceptional guides we’ve ever encountered. From the moment we set out, Ibrahim impressed us with his warmth, professionalism, and above all, his deep passion for the Serengeti. His knowledge of wildlife, ecosystems, geography, and Tanzanian history is absolutely encyclopedic. But it wasn't just the facts — it was the way he shared them. Every animal sighting came with fascinating insights. Every landscape had a story. He brought the Serengeti to life with a storyteller’s flair and a historian’s depth. Whether we were tracking elusive leopards, watching a lion pride at dawn, or marveling at the Great Migration, Ibrahim always knew where to go, what to look for, and how to ensure we had the best (and most respectful) encounters with the wildlife. His instincts are razor-sharp — it honestly felt like he had a sixth sense for where the magic would unfold next. What also stood out was his deep respect for the land, its people, and its animals. His commitment to conservation and responsible tourism was evident in everything he did. We left the Serengeti not only with stunning photos and once-in-a-lifetime memories, but also with a much deeper understanding of the park’s significance, both ecologically and culturally. On a personal level, Ibrahim is kind, patient, funny, and incredibly thoughtful. He made us feel safe, welcomed, and truly cared for every step of the way. From sharing stories around the campfire to his sharp eye for spotting wildlife from miles away — every moment with him was a gift. If you're dreaming of the Serengeti, go — and go with Ibrahim. He doesn't just guide you through the park; he guides you through an experience that will stay with you for a lifetime. Thank you, Ibrahim, for the journey of a lifetime. We’ll never forget it. 🦁🌍🌿Show moreWorld Adventure Tours commented on this reviewDear Alison, Thank you for sharing your wonderful review. - Online· September 9th, 2025This was a once-in-a-lifetime safari trip! It may only be 5 days (not counting Day 1 where you just fly into Kilimanjaro) but those 5 days at the parks were just amaaaazing. Felt like 1.5 weeks seeing all the African animals you could ever wish to see. We saw the Big 5 all thanks to our driver/guide Emmanuel's eagle eyes! There were only 5 of us in the trip and we formed our little safari family, joking around and spending time with each other after long (but fantastic) game drives. Talking about hotels, we looooved the Serengeti Safari Lodge!!! Such a beautiful way to camp (or more like, GLAMP) in the middle of the bush. We highly recommend this tour! 🌟🧡Show moreWorld Adventure Tours commented on this reviewDear Kerzia, Thank you for sharing your kind words. - NNick· August 24th, 2025Wow! The "Big Five Classic Safari in Tanzania **Sustainable Approach to Travel" lived up the itinerary and trip details provided by tourradar. Spending a day in Lake Manyara National Park, a few days in Serengeti National Park, an afternoon in Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, and an afternoon in Tarangire National Park were action packed and filled with exceptional experiences. The tour operator, World Adventure Tours, did a fantastic job from arrival to departure! Don't worry about transfers from the airport to the motel and back. They will pick you up no matter the time your plane arrives and deliver you to the airport in time for your flight home. Everything in between is well organized and smooth going as well. The hotel accommodations are very good in Moshi and near Karatu and the tent experience in Serengeti National Park is first class fun. Be ready for bumpy and dusty roads in the parks. My trip was during the dry season of August. The Landcruiser is built for just those kind of conditions. Viewing from the vehicle is exceptional (I'm 6' 3" so the windows were a little low for me) and when the top is open you could see a vast landscape of incredible vista. Seeing the "Big Five" was achieved during my visit (and happens 99.7% of the time). The most challenging is finding the rhinoceros, followed by the leopard. You will definitely see a great variety of animals and birds in their natural environment living their lives. I think a visit to Olduvai Gorge Museum would be a nice addition to this tour. It would be a great place to stretch and see a portion of Olduvai Gorge, the cradle of humankind, as you leave the Serengeti on your way to Ngorongoro Crater. Overall, this tour is well worth the money, and did I mention the balloon ride? Fabulous.Show moreWorld Adventure Tours commented on this reviewDear Nicholas, Thank you for sharing such a detailed and thoughtful review. Asked on August 3rd, 2025We are interested in this safari in Tanzania but would like to add a trek to the gorillas in Rwanda too. Can you help with a combined itinerary?

Traveler•Written August 2025We're thinking of doing this tour back to back with a Rwanda gorilla trek late July-early August 2026. As for length of stay in Rwanda- anything from 3 to 10 days- depending on what's on offer and cost. (would also like to see chimpanzees, golden monkeys....) Ideally we hope to stay in mid range accommodation for the most part (don't mind a couple of camping nights but that's all). Also, can you give any advice on necessary vaccinations?

Asked on July 18th, 2025What is the best month between June and October to see the Wildebeest migration in this part of Serengeti?
- World Adventure ToursOperator•Written July 2025
The best time to witness the migration in the northern part of Serengeti is generally between late July and September, when the herds are usually crossing the Mara River, one of the most dramatic wildlife spectacles in East Africa. Please note that while this is typically the migration period, wildlife sightings are dependent on nature, and we cannot guarantee seeing the wildebeest migration.

Asked on July 10th, 2025Is there a reason for that? Also, do you guarantee sightings of zebras, giraffes lions, and elephants? What month is the best month to visit?
- World Adventure ToursOperator•Written July 2025
We have strong partnerships with local suppliers and operate efficiently, which helps us offer excellent value. The best months to visit Tanzania are generally from June to October. This is the dry season, with pleasant weather and excellent wildlife viewing. Tanzania is a year-round wildlife destination, and you will see plenty of zebras, giraffes, lions, and elephants at any time of year.

Asked on July 9th, 2025Can you customize tours? Such as if we want to add more days to see Masai Mara or Zanibar, etc?
- M
Molly
Traveler•Written July 2025Is there a month you recommend to see the safari? We would like to see the great migration.
- World Adventure ToursOperator•Written July 2025
In August, there is a possibility of seeing the migration; however, since this is a natural phenomenon, sightings cannot be guaranteed. Adding an extra day of safari in the Northern Serengeti is USD 450 per person, per night. We usually recommend 2 nights in this area, as it is quite a distance from Central Serengeti and worth spending more time there.
