Paris
Start your trip in Paris by meeting the group at the hotel. This evening you'll head out for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant where they serve traditional French cuisine, giving everyone a chance to get to know each other before the tour begins.

- Day 2
Paris to Honfleur
Travel out of Paris by minicoach, passing by the Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe along the way. You'll stop at Claude Monet's home in Giverny to see the ivy-covered house, then continue on to Honfleur, a charming port town where you'll stay for the next two nights in an 18th-century Norman mansion.

Honfleur
Start with an orientation tour of Honfleur's busy market and 17th-century harbour with your tour leader. After that, you'll have time for lunch before heading out on the minicoach to explore the Route du Cidre. There you'll visit a local calvados producer to try different ciders and calvados, then return to Honfleur with your evening free to do as you like.

Normandy to Arromanches-les-Bains
This day focuses on the D-Day landing sites across Normandy's windswept beaches. You'll visit the American Cemetery and Memorial at Colleville-sur-Mer, which overlooks Omaha Beach, then tour the Memorial Museum of the Battle of Normandy in Bayeux. Later, you'll head to Arromanches-les-Bains for a group dinner at your beachfront hotel.

Head to Mont Saint-Michel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you can wander the island village and climb up to the Abbey at the top. You'll stop in Dol-de-Bretagne to see the Menhir de Champ-Dolent, then continue to Dinan, a town that looks like it came from a storybook. Dinner tonight is a traditional Breton crêpe meal.

Dinan
Spend the entire day exploring Dinan at your own pace. Walk the ancient ramparts, check out the timber-framed houses, and stroll along the quay. You can browse the quirky shops and galleries, wander through artisan workshops, or visit the Basilica of Saint-Sauveur if you're interested in its beautiful stained-glass windows.

Dinan to Chinon
Travel by minicoach into the Loire Valley where castles line the skyline and vineyards cover the rolling hills. You'll visit Angers Castle, a massive 9th-century fortress where you can explore the towers and gardens, plus see the Apocalypse Tapestry. Then it's on to Chinon for a group dinner at a local restaurant.

- Day 8
Chinon
Visit Château de Villandry, a Renaissance castle known for its carefully tended gardens and beautiful architecture. Inside, you'll see intricate frescoes and wooden panelling. Later, you'll do a wine tasting at a local winery with 12th-century cellars beneath Chinon's medieval fortress before heading back to Chinon.

Chinon to Loire Valley Château
Tour Château de Chenonceau, the early 1500s castle famous for its five-arched bridge spanning the River Cher. You'll explore the wooden-beamed kitchens and Grand Gallery with its chessboard floor, then walk through the gardens. Stop in Amboise to see where Leonardo da Vinci lived, then check into your château hotel for a final group dinner.

Loire Valley to Chartres to Paris
Travel to the medieval city of Chartres and visit its celebrated cathedral, one of France's finest examples of Gothic architecture. You'll see the soaring spires and ornate 13th-century stained-glass windows. From there, head back to Paris and take time to reflect on all the charm and beauty you've seen throughout the tour.
