- Day 1
Budapest
You'll arrive in Budapest and board your river ship on the Danube. After getting settled into your cabin, there's a Welcome Reception where you'll meet the Cruise Director and other travelers.

Budapest
A local guide leads you through Budapest's major sights on foot, showing you the city's best architecture and landmarks. Back on the ship by evening, you'll have a Gala Welcome Dinner while cruising the Danube.

Vienna
The ship reaches Vienna's city centre and your guided walking tour covers St Stephen's Cathedral, the Graben, and Hofburg Palace. Later you can wander through Naschmarkt on your own, and if you're interested, there's an optional Mozart and Strauss Concert in the evening.

Vienna
You have the full day to yourself in Vienna. Whether you want to explore the Hofburg area, shop along Kärntnerstrasse, or take an optional excursion to Schönbrunn Palace or Bratislava, the choice is yours.

Melk
The ship sails to Dürnstein where you can walk cobbled streets, see historic townhouses, and visit the hilltop castle ruins. A wine tasting tour is available if that interests you. After that, you'll sail through the Wachau Valley to Melk and tour its impressive Benedictine abbey.

Passau
You can join an optional tour to Český Krumlov or Salzburg (which includes Mondsee), or simply relax on the ship as you sail. This evening brings traditional Bavarian entertainment on board with local beer, snacks, and folk music.

Miltenberg
You explore Miltenberg and its well-preserved half-timbered buildings from the 15th to 18th centuries. After returning to the ship, you can relax or join an optional culinary walking tour. Later, you'll cruise through medieval towns along the Rhine.

Rüdesheim

Brühl
You cruise into Cologne and see the famous Kölner Dom cathedral with its twin spires. Then you'll travel to Brühl for a private tour of the World Heritage-listed Augustusburg Palace and its landscaped grounds.
