Ethiopia to Entebbe
Your driver will meet you at the airport and take you to The Boma Hotel, which is just a 3-minute drive away. You'll check in and settle into your room before the safari adventure kicks off tomorrow. It's a good chance to rest up and get oriented after your arrival.

Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll head out on about a 6-hour drive through Uganda's agricultural areas toward Kibale Forest. Along the way you'll pass fruit and vegetable plantations, go through Kyenjojo, and see tea estates. You'll stop in Fort Portal for lunch, then continue to Bigodi where a guide takes you on community and swamp walks to see local wildlife and meet people from the area.

Kibale Forest to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning means heading into Kibale Forest right after breakfast at your lodge to search for chimpanzees and the 13 other primate species living there. After checking out, you'll drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda's top reserves. The park is known for tree-climbing lions, and you'll have a good shot at seeing them during your time there.

- Day 4
Queen Elizabeth National Park
This morning you'll join the research team for lion tracking work, using GPS devices to locate prides moving through the bush. You'll follow the tracks off-road and get close views of these predators in their natural setting. In the afternoon, a private boat ride along Kazinga Channel lets you see hippos, elephants, buffalo, and other animals coming to the water.

- Day 5
Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast you'll drive 6 to 7 hours to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to roughly 400 mountain gorillas and half the world's population. The forest here is one of Uganda's oldest, dating back over 25,000 years and containing nearly 400 plant species across mist-covered hillsides. You'll check into your lodge and rest before gorilla trekking tomorrow.

- Day 6
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
An early breakfast comes before your ranger briefing, then you'll trek into the rainforest following animal trails to find a gorilla group. The trek takes you through steeply forested terrain, and when you locate the gorillas you'll spend an hour watching these gentle, endangered animals. After returning for lunch and checking out, you'll head to Lake Bunyonyi with its 29 islands and terraced green hillsides.

Lake Bunyonyi to Entebbe International Airport
You'll have a relaxed breakfast with views of Lake Bunyonyi's islands, then start your drive back to Entebbe Airport. You'll stop in Mbarara town for lunch, and later visit the Uganda Equator line in Kayabwe for photos and souvenirs. You should arrive at the airport in the late afternoon or evening for your departure flight.
