He tried his best, but he really didn't relate well to two well-traveled and adventurous females.Show moreTrip date: November 2024- YCYu· May 13th, 2025I am a little disappointed with this tour, the vehicle used for this tour is Toyota SUV, which is the standard 5-seat vehicle, but they pull down the back row seats to make 7-seat vehicles. We have total 6 people including the driver and guide. The guide always sit the best seat (the front seat) all the way in this trip. The trip has long distance driving and drove 5 hours to 7 hours everyday. It is very difficult and discomforting to sit in the vehicle with such small spaces, which specially challenged for the travelers who have back pain problems. The activities in day 2 and day 3 were in the deserts and remote areas, kind of boring, not so many interesting things to see. The activities in day 3 and day 4 became good and enjoyable. Although both driver and guide were working hard, they seemed unable to communicate effectively. The guide’s English is difficult to understand, he sometimes didn’t understand our questions. Although the tour was relatively short, it was impressively thorough, so we managed to see a wide variety of sights and cities across the country (including several Star Wars filming locations, which was such a fun bonus for fans). The itinerary was excellently planned: full of experiences but never rushed. The pacing felt surprisingly relaxed considering how much we fit in, which I think speaks volumes about how well the tour was organized. A huge part of what made the trip so enjoyable were our guide, Ezdin, and our driver, Ali. Ezdin was probably the best guide I’ve ever had—knowledgeable, engaging, and always ready to answer our many questions with patience and passion. Both he and Ali were incredibly kind and made sure we always felt comfortable and safe, whether we were on the road or exploring on foot. All in all it was a great tour, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!Show more

The chicken entrée was not edible. Neither Debbie nor I received any information on meeting time and place for the first day. At 7am, we both received a phone call from the guide that we should be meeting NOW. Both of us had requested info for several days, but never received it. All communication after the first day was clear and concise. Asked on March 19th, 2025We are interested in a short tour starting about the 8th of September in Tunis (pick up at the airport) and finishing in Monastir on the 12th/13th of September. The Discovery Tour is finishing in Tunis but is going through Sousse (almost Monastir). Is it possible to make slight changes to the itinerary? What will be the cost? Or alternatively can you organise a tour for the two of us? We are interested in history, culture, food etc less interested in beaches or hiking.

The duration of the tours are different, the Highlights of Tunisia includes 4 nights accomodation. On the Tunisia Discovery Tour there are 5 nights accomodation included, the last night in Tunis. Some travellers depending their flight time might miss the last program points in Tunis on the Highlights Tour but it depends the flight time and if possible we try to offer it on the arrival day if arrival flight times allow.
