Itinerary
- Day 1
Tarangire National Park
Your driver picks you up after breakfast and heads into Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The park spreads across vast plains with acacia woodlands and those massive baobab trees you'll see everywhere, plus some of Africa's largest elephant herds. You'll stop for lunch at a picnic site around midday, then keep going with game viewing until evening when you head back to camp.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you leave Tarangire and drive through farmland in Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area heading toward Serengeti National Park. The route takes you down from the highlands into the Serengeti's open plains, and you'll head to the Seronera area which has some of the park's best wildlife. You'll arrive in time for lunch, then do an afternoon game drive.

Serengeti National Park
You spend the full day on game drives throughout Serengeti National Park. Where you go depends on where the migrating herds are at that time of year - they're in the North from July to October, the South from November to December, and central Serengeti from April to June. You'll see wildebeests, zebras, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and the Big Five.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After breakfast you do morning game drives and continue until lunchtime. In the afternoon you head toward Ngorongoro, and along the way you'll learn about Maasai traditional life and culture in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You arrive at your campsite for the night.

Landmarks/POIs Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Starting with an early breakfast, you descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari. The crater floor holds wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and elephants, plus lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and leopards. You'll stop at Lake Magadi, an alkaline lake where flamingos and hippos hang out. After a picnic lunch you drive back to Arusha.
