Itinerary
- Day 1
Bucharest to Sibiu
Start heading north from Bucharest toward the Carpathian Mountains and make your first stop at Peles Castle, a Neo-Renaissance structure that once served as the royal summer residence. The gardens here are worth your time, and you'll get a sense of how Romanian royalty lived. From there, continue on to Brasov, where you can walk around Council Square and check out the Black Church, which dominates the medieval skyline. Later, push on to Sibiu, a city with real character thanks to its Saxon heritage and colorful buildings. You'll spend the night here, so you can settle in and explore some of the streets before dinner.

- Day 2
Alba Iulia - Sighistrea
This morning, start with Sibiu's cobblestone streets on foot, stopping by the Evangelical Cathedral and the Bridge of Lies. After that, head to Alba Iulia, which holds symbolic importance for Romania since it's connected to the country's Great Union. There's a star-shaped Vauban fortress to see here along with the Coronation Cathedral. By afternoon, continue on to Sighisoara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and birthplace of Vlad the Impaler. You'll have time to walk through the medieval citadel, look at the colorful houses, visit the Clock Tower, and check out the Church on the Hill before settling in for the night.

- Day 3
Viscri - Bran - Bucharest
Leave Sighisoara and head to Viscri, a Saxon village with a fortified church that's also UNESCO listed and connected to King Charles. Take time to walk the village's quieter streets and see the traditional architecture up close. From there, travel to Bran to see Bran Castle, the place often linked to Dracula stories. Once you've looked around the castle and the area, head back to Bucharest, finishing up your time through Transylvania's main highlights.
