Itinerary
- Day 1
Drive to Trek Start
Your journey begins with a long drive that takes you through shifting landscapes. You'll pass rivers, terraced rice fields spreading across hillsides, and then the Himalayan peaks come into view. By evening you'll reach your guesthouse where meals are provided, so you can settle in and rest up for the trekking ahead.

Landmarks Himalayas - Day 2
Dharapani to Chame
Starting from Dharapani, you trek toward Danaque and Tamang Village, where distinctive stone houses with slate roofs line the way. The path carries you through several Tibetan villages including Thanchowk and Koto. Along the route, Manaslu (8163m), Annapurna, and other high peaks dominate the views, making for a visually rich day on the trail.

Chame to Pisang
Leaving Chame, you head toward Telekhu village with the Annapurna Ranges visible throughout. Mt. Pisang (6091m) appears prominently as you cross a suspension bridge over the Marsyangdi River. From there, you climb through a pine forest into the upper Manang Valley, eventually arriving in Pisang by day's end.

Pisang to Braga
The trek from Pisang to Braga introduces you to a Tibetan village where houses are stacked one atop another in unique fashion. While there, you'll visit Manang's main attraction, the Gompa (Buddhist temple) and the largest one in the region. This location works well as an acclimatization spot, giving your body time to adjust.

Acclimatization Day at Manang
Rather than rest completely, you'll spend this day moving gently to help with acclimatization. You trek up to Khangsar (3756m) to keep active while your body adapts to higher elevation. After that, you return to Manang for the night, giving you a balanced approach to altitude adjustment.

Landmarks Khangsar - Day 6
Manang to Bangsar
From Manang, you have a 4 to 5 hour trek to Bangsar Village (3756m). The trail climbs uphill toward Siri Kharka and passes through a small religious village along the way. It's physically demanding, but Gungang Himal and Mt. Chulu reward your effort with impressive views throughout the hike.

Bangsar to Tilicho Base Camp
This day's trek is less strenuous than yesterday, though the gravelly path requires careful footing. You'll watch for potential avalanche risk as you make your way. Over around 5 to 6 hours, you reach Tilicho Base Camp, a significant waypoint in the journey.

Tilicho Lake Trek
You climb higher toward Tilicho Lake in a 5 to 6 hour trek. Located at the base of Tilicho Peak (7134m), yaks and deer often graze along the trail. The lake itself shifts through various shades of blue, creating photo-worthy moments. After taking in the scenery, you trek back to Sri Kharka for the night.

Descent to Yak Kharka
Now you start descending toward Khangsar Village. The route passes Tare Gumba (3870m), a site known for its monastery. You'll follow the Thorong Khola Valley and pass through Old Khangsar, an abandoned village, before reaching Yak Kharka by evening.

Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi
You continue climbing higher as your body gradually adapts to the elevation. The trail follows the east bank of the Jarang Khola with steep bluffs visible along the way. You'll reach Thorong Phedi (foothills), and if you have energy, you can trek one more hour to High Camp (4800m). Watch for blue sheep, possibly snow leopards, and the Lammergeyer bearded vulture.

Landmarks High Camp Jarang Khola - Day 11
Thorong Phedi to Muktinath
This is the most demanding day with around 7 to 8 hours of hiking at high altitude with potentially strong winds. You'll encounter sheep, yaks, and merchants on the trail. Reaching Thorong La Pass brings views of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Khatungkang (6484m). From there, you descend roughly 1600 metres to Muktinath, where Dhaulagiri (White Mountain) becomes visible. The full trek takes about 10 hours, and you'll rest at your accommodation afterward.

Muktinath to Pokhara
From Muktinath, you head through Jomsom, Tatopani, and Beni Bazaar on your way to Pokhara. Once you arrive, you'll find yourself in a town centered around Phewa Tal (lake). You have time to check out shops along the lakeside and sit at the water's edge to watch the sun set over the Annapurna ranges before settling in at your hotel.
