The boat tours in particular (transfer and excursion, top boat guide) were amazing. A great start to our Costa Rica round trip. Our subsequent inquiry as to whether we could be dropped off at the airport, although our destination was the Hotel Fleur de lys, was also dealt with with a brief question to the bus driver. The food, the facilities and the rooms at the Turtle Beach Hotel were good to very good. (But you shouldn't expect a 5* all-in mega hotel in the jungle)Show more

- Allyson· June 24th, 2023This tour was great! The pickups were prompt and professional. The itinerary was well communicated. The lodge was great- good variety of food, beautiful pool, clean rooms. This may be due to late booking but I was put with an all Spanish speaking group at Pachira Lodge and while that did have some challenges everyone was very nice and our tour leader Eli made sure I understood all safety tips and interesting things to look out for. I will note some of the optional excursions offered on the tour hosts website were not available, possibly due to seasonality- but I will follow up with them directly. Some things we saw included sloths, iguanas, monkeys, many birds including toucans and macaws, crabs, caiman, fish, and many insects. The cabins were clean, but old, the humanity was high and made it hard to sleep. The Sesteó Hotel had a very old rooms, but lots of space. The room smelled like it used to be an smoking room sometimes in the past.
