  1. Day 1

    Kathmandu

    You'll be picked up from Kathmandu Airport and transferred to your hotel, passing prayer flags strung across the valley. After settling in and getting oriented to the city, dinner is waiting for you at the hotel this evening.

  2. Day 2

    Patan

    Head out to Swayambhunath shrine first, where you'll see the golden spire and encounter the resident monkeys roaming the grounds. Then make your way to Durbar Square to walk through the temples and palaces. After lunch, you'll travel to Patan to check out the ancient temples there and visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp's handicraft center before heading back to Kathmandu for the evening.

    Bhaktapur

    This morning you're heading to Bhaktapur to explore its Durbar Square. You'll walk through the narrow alleys watching local artisans working, and then you'll take part in a pottery workshop where you can learn traditional techniques and make your own ceramic piece. Try the local Juju Dhau yoghurt treat before returning to your hotel.

    Get transferred to Kathmandu Airport for your flight to Delhi. Once you land in India's capital, you'll join your Travel Director and other travelers for a Welcome Dinner this evening.

    Delhi

    Start the day with a rickshaw ride through Old Delhi's busy streets to see the Red Fort. You'll navigate through the vibrant Chandni Chowk market, then visit the grand Jama Masjid. Pay your respects at Raj Ghat memorial to Mahatma Gandhi before checking out the ancient stepwell of Agrasen Ki Baoli. The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax back at your hotel.

    Delhi

    Take a guided walking tour to learn about the Salaam Baalak Trust's work with street children, and then explore Paharganj bazaar with local guides. Head to New Delhi to visit Humayun's Tomb with its restored gardens, grab lunch near India Gate, then check out the Qutub Minar complex. You'll drive past Lutyens' Delhi's colonial architecture on the way back to your hotel for the rest of the afternoon.

    Agra to Ranthambore

    Explore Agra Fort's 17th-century royal chambers in the morning. Then visit the abandoned 'Ghost Town' of Fatehpur Sikri, which was built by Emperor Akbar. You'll have lunch in Bharatpur before boarding a train to Ranthambore, where you'll stay for two nights.

    Ranthambore

You'll return for a late breakfast and have time to relax. In the afternoon, another game drive takes you out to spot birds and wildlife before dinner back at the hotel.

The day ends with a Farewell Dinner where you'll celebrate your travels with fellow travelers who are finishing their journey.

This evening, you'll cruise down the River Ganges to watch the ritual of Aarti with floating candles and flowers, then return to the hotel for dinner.

For tours departing after March 18th, 2026, a minimum payment of $200 is required to confirm your booking with Trafalgar. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
