Many great experiences and comfortable accommodations, but some differences between itinerary information and expectations. Particularly for a group of 50 - 80 year olds, some things were not made clear. The biggest complaint was the 2nd class sleeper car. It only says sleeper train, which given other accommodations, one would expect 1st class sleeping compartments. I even enquired before booking and was told a private compartment with my single supplement. One does have to read the category of this trip as well. It is an Explorer trip, so some things were slightly more strenuous. Given that, the guide, Chai was wonderful about making adjustments for some travelers. There is no mention of biking at Sukothai in the itinerary, so he arranged a tuk tuk for some of us. Some hotels were changed and in less convenient locations.
