Itinerary
- Day 1
Zurich
You'll arrive in Zurich and get settled at your hotel with a transfer arranged. The rest of the day is yours to spend however you'd like. Walk around the city, check out different neighborhoods, and try some local restaurants for dinner. It's a good chance to get your bearings and start feeling like you're really in Switzerland.

- Day 2
Rhine Falls and Zurich
Head out to Rhine Falls, one of Europe's largest waterfalls, where you can view it from several platforms along the river. If you're interested, there's an optional boat tour for CHF 15 per person that gets you closer to the water. Later, spend time walking through Zurich's central attractions including Town Hall, Cathedral, and Opera House. You'll have a provided Google Maps route to guide your self-guided tour, so navigation's straightforward.

Zurich to Zermatt
Travel to Zermatt on the Glacier Express, a train journey that takes about eight hours and crosses through the Alps. You'll pass through 91 tunnels and over 291 bridges, and the elevated windows give great views the whole way. After you arrive and check in at your hotel, the rest of the day is free. You might want to rest after the long train ride or take a short walk around Zermatt.

- Day 4
Zermatt to Interlaken
There's an optional morning visit to Matterhorn if you want to go. You can head to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, which is Europe's highest summer ski area, or visit the Matterhorn Museum to learn about the mountain's first ascent and how Zermatt developed over time. In the afternoon, you'll take a train to Interlaken and check into your hotel there. It's a good transition day between mountain areas.

- Day 5
Interlaken
Spend your day in the Interlaken region checking out everything from mountain villages to waterfalls. If you're doing the Mt. Jungfrau excursion, you'll take the train up to Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe, with dramatic mountain views along the way and a chance to see the ice palace. Your regional pass gets you on all the trains, so you can move between car-free villages like Mürren and Wengen, hit some hiking trails, or head to Trümmelbach Falls, which are glacier-fed waterfalls built right into the mountainside. You'll stay overnight in Interlaken or one of the smaller mountain villages depending on where you've booked.

- Day 6
Interlaken to Lucerne
Take the train to Lucerne and settle in at your hotel. Later, head to Mt. Rigi by train and cable car to see the typical Swiss alpine landscape with meadows, forests, and cattle grazing. As evening comes on, go for a relaxing boat ride on Lake Lucerne. You'll see traditional villages along the shore and dramatic mountain backdrops from the water.

- Day 7
Mt. Titlis and return to Zurich
Travel to Engelberg and then up to Mt. Titlis using gondola and cable car systems, taking in high alpine scenery with rocks and snow. Ride the Ice Flyer chairlift for close-up glacier views. After that, catch the train back to Zurich and check into your hotel. You'll have settled back in the city by evening.

Departure from Zurich
It's time to head out. If your hotel offers it, use the shuttle to Zurich Airport (usually 6-8 Swiss Francs per person, paid directly to the hotel). Otherwise, arrange your own transport if you're staying somewhere in the city center. Then you're off to your next destination.
