- Christopher· October 23rd, 2017Superbly organized, from pick-up at the airport to drop-off everything flowed smoothly. Our guide had an in-depth knowledge of all the monasteries and the Buddhist way of life which added greatly to the tour, the driver was excellent as well, not only efficient at their jobs but great fun as well. The people of Ladakh have a very relaxed attitude to life which soon rubs off on you. Accommodation in Leh was at the Pangong hotel not 5 star but very comfortable with friendly staff and a very good restaurant. The 2 most memorable monasteries were Thiksey and Lamayuru although the others were good as well the tour had no "low points" We had an overnight stay at the Ule Ethnic resort at Uletokpo which was very peaceful with great views from the cabin. All meals were included so the only extra we spent was on shopping and tips. Highly recommended!Show more

To participate in this tour you would have to plan between June to September only and not possible in November. For this tour a departure is operating starting 4 Aug 2023 and if it's possible for you, plan for it. I understand it might be a little too short notice for you. Or you may plan for summer 2024.
