- Day 1
Amman
You'll arrive in Amman, one of the world's oldest capitals and Jordan's modern heart. If you've arranged a hotel transfer, your driver meets you in the arrivals hall and takes you straight to your hotel. This gives you time to settle in and rest after your journey.

Umayyad Desert Castles
Start the morning with a city tour of Amman, taking in the Roman amphitheater and citadel with its archaeological museum for panoramic city views. Later you'll head east to check out the 8th-century Umayyad desert castles including the Kharana caravanserai, Amra pleasure palace, and the fortress in the Azraq oasis. The drive gives you a real sense of Jordan's historical layers.

Ajloun
After breakfast, you'll drive to Jerash, a city with 6500 years of continuous settlement and once a major Roman hub. Walking along the colonnade and through the oval forum lets you picture Roman times here. Then continue to Ajloun to see the pine forests and the medieval fortress sitting on the hilltop.

- Day 4
Mount Nebo - Dead Sea - Kerak - Petra
You'll travel to Madaba first, known for its intricate mosaics throughout the city. From there head to Mount Nebo where Moses is said to have viewed the Promised Land. In the afternoon, reach the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, and float in the famously salty water. Later you'll drive along the old royal road to Kerak castle before arriving in Petra for the evening.

- Day 5
Petra
Today focuses on exploring Petra, the rock city carved into sandstone walls over 2000 years ago as the former Nabataean capital. This UNESCO site and one of the Seven New Wonders of the World deserves your full attention as you walk through the carved facades and chambers.

Landmarks Petra - Day 6
Wadi Rum
You'll travel into Wadi Rum, the desert valley of the Bedouins with its distinctive brown-red mountain ranges. This is where Lawrence of Arabia led the uprising against the Turks, and many film locations from that era remain. An off-road vehicle takes you through the dramatic landscape before you settle into your desert camp for the night under the stars.

- Day 7
Aqaba
Drive to Aqaba where the Red Sea offers relaxation and water activities. You can take optional glass boat tours and snorkel through turquoise waters, or simply spend the day on the beach. By evening, explore the city itself, browse through shops and markets to find souvenirs, and grab a freshly squeezed juice to enjoy the local flavors.

- Day 8
Departure
If you've booked an airport transfer, your pickup happens about 3 hours before departure and without the tour guide. You'll head home to Germany, or you could arrange an individual extension to stay longer on the beaches of Aqaba if you'd prefer more time here.
