  Aida helped us organize a last minute trip with my parents (77 yeas old my Dad and my Mam who are no longer very young 😅) and me and my brother but with the guides, the drivers and no extra thought, we were able to visit Petra, sleep in the desert, take the jeep excursion in wadi rum, spend relaxing time on the dead sea and then moving to Israel where we visited Jerusalem and Bethlehem, in only 5 days, beautiful places and everything organized perfectly. The only problem is the cross from Jordan to Israel, I suggest using Acaba Yitzhak Rabin and not the Allenby bridge, especially on Fridays and Saturdays, it took about 3 hours standing but unfortunately we had a few days and it was the only possibility for us. I also recommend checking the departure terminal because the Telaviv airport is very large and we departed from terminal 1 not 3 (the majority leave from 3) where the driver left us and it took us 45m by shuttle to reach it; The driver should have asked us having never been to Israel before we could not have known how big the airport was. I highly recommend contacting Jordan Horizons Tours we always felt safe and all the operators were welcoming, professional and nice.

  We scheduled a 7 day/6 night trip with Jordan Horizon Tours and they were amazing. Mamoun help create an itinerary that we all loved. We spent a week exploring ruins, lounging at the beach and having unforgettable adventures. Mamoun was always available to answer questions and even helped us make a last minute change to add sand surfing. He truly cared that we see and enjoy as much of his country as we could. I would 100% recommend Mamoun and JHT.

  We were a group of 6 persons booked a private 7-day tour in Jordan with this company in May 2023. I have some experiences with the service of this company to share. Hope it is helpful for those who are considering to go for a tour with this company: 1) The tour cost was expensive, as NOT all entrance tickets to the sites organized by the company included in the tour cost. For our case, the company included only some sites (with cheap entrance fees), and we had to buy Jordan Pass separately and it caused the cost higher than expected. 2) We flew from 2 different countries to join this tour in Jordan, we then had to arrive at Jordan (Amman Airport) by two different flights. The arrival times were only 1 hour different between 2 flights, but the company charged us USD 40 extra which was too much. I complained about this, but it was not considered. Other than that, the organizer replied with unfriendly words which scared other members in our group. This caused me paid higher for the tour cost, as this extra charge was shared with me as well. 3) For the hotels arranged by this company, in general they were not as good as expected. We were staying 2 persons per room, but the toiletries (shower cap, soap, shampoo), towel were provided for only one person. We had to request to the hotels by ourselves for another set. 4) NOT same room grade was provided for group members equally in the hotel in Petra. This was observed because the guest names were specified for each room in advanced and it was causing bad impression. 5) For the driver, Alladin, he was good.

  I was a part of a 6-person group tour organized by JHT last month. The tour was 7 days long. The driver was good, he has done his job as expected, but the hotels arrangement was disappointing. Hotel in Amman: We booked the tour 4 months in advanced (since January 2023 to take a tour in May 2023), but the provided rooms were too far from each other’s. The toiletries, towel, and slippers were provided only for 1 person per room (while we were staying 2 persons per room). Hotel in Petra: It should not be called 5-star hotel as claimed. The room was too small to be 5-star and the internet signal in the room was very poor. The towels were too old and their rims were torn. 3 star should be enough to be rated. Camp in Wadi Rum: Food and facilitation were nice, but the location was not as good as expected. From the camp, we could not see sun set nor sun rise, as it was located in the middle of valleys. The path way from reception to the room was not easy to drag our bags (which is normal for the camp in desert, this we can understand). But the problem is that the bell boy did not assist with moving all the bags to our rooms, but told us to drag them by ourselves. Hotel at Dead Sea: It was good to have a private beach, but the hotel was isolated from the community. It was difficult to go out to anywhere else like shopping mall or supermarket, etc. Toiletries were provided for only 1 person per room.

  I booked a 1 week solo tour experiencing the highlights of Jordan: Amman, Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea and many breathtaking sights along the way. I usually prefer to plan the itinerary myself, but I’m so glad I chose Jordan Horizon tours as I had the best time; they took all the stress out of travelling and made me feel like a king! My driver Hisham met me at the airport and took me around for the majority of the time - but he remained my main point of contact for meeting other Jordan Horizons drivers - every single one was on time and a pleasure to meet. These guys know what they’re doing, very good communication through WhatsApp along the way (wifi available in all the cars a bonus), and made me feel so welcome in Jordan. The hotels were all a good standard and I enjoyed many traditional buffet breakfasts along the way. For evening meals, be aware at Petra and the Dead Sea it’s easy to end up at tourist trap food spots but if you walk 5-10 mins away from these spots you’ll invariably find much better local places to eat. The traditional BBQ at the Bedouin Camp was outstanding! Huge thanks to Hisham and the rest of the team for an unforgettable trip.
