Itinerary
- Day 1
Lima
You'll be picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day however you like, whether that's resting from your flight or wandering around Lima on your own to get a feel for the city.
- Day 2
Lima to Cusco
Start with a guided tour through Lima's historic center, hitting San Martin Plaza, Plaza de Armas, and the Monastery of San Francisco. You'll also check out the Larco Museum which has a great collection. After grabbing lunch, you'll fly to Cusco and get transferred to your hotel.

Cusco to Aguas Calientes
Head out to see Sacsayhuaman, Temple of the Moon, and Water Temple Tambomachay, all significant Inca sites around Cusco. You'll drive to Ollantaytambo for lunch (pay separately), then catch a 1.5-hour train to Aguas Calientes. Your hotel staff meets you at the station and walks you to your accommodation.

Machu Picchu
Get to the bus station early for the 30-minute ride to Machu Picchu. You'll have about 2 hours for a guided visit of this iconic site. If you're up for it, Huayna Picchu offers views from above Machu Picchu (extra fee applies). Bring snacks for lunch since it's on your own. Bus back to Aguas Calientes and walk to your hotel.

Aguas Calientes to Urubamba
Walk to the train station and board back to Ollantaytambo where your guide and driver meet you. You'll explore the village and its Inca remains, then drive through the Sacred Valley to Urubamba village. Lunch is self-service here. Later you'll see the Maras Salt Mines and Moray's terraces before checking into your hotel near Urubamba.

Urubamba to Cusco
Drive to Chinchero in the morning to see the main square with Inca walls and a Colonial church. Learn about traditional weaving from local artisans at a textile center. Head back to Cusco (about 30 km) and check in. In the afternoon, walk around Plaza de Armas, look at the Cathedral exterior, and go through Inca Street to visit the Temple of Sun which mixes Inca and Spanish colonial elements.

Cusco to La Paz
Fly to La Paz and get transferred to your hotel by your guide and driver. Take the rest of the day easy so you can adjust to the altitude. Stay hydrated and relax rather than overexerting yourself.

La Paz
Visit the Basilica de San Francisco, then the Museo de Metales Preciosos which shows Bolivian handicrafts and Tiwanaku metalwork. Stop by Palacio de Quemado to see the presidential building from outside at Plaza Murillo. Ride a cable car to Mirador Killi Killi for views across La Paz. Finish at the Witches' Market before heading back to your hotel.

La Paz to Uyuni
Fly to Uyuni in the morning. Start at the Train Cemetery, then drive 30 minutes to Colchani Village where you can pick up salt handicrafts. Check out the Salt Museum and head to Isla Incahuasi in the salt fields. After about 1 hour 45 minutes of driving, you'll reach your hotel.

Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve
Drive 200 km north into the Chiguana Desert. You'll see Volcano Ollague and visit Andean lagoons where three types of flamingos live. Continue 4 more hours to Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve. Explore the Siloli Desert, see the Rock Tree formation, and stop at Laguna Colorada to watch pink flamingos and the red lake before checking into your hotel.

Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve to Uyuni
Leave early to reach Sol de Mañana Geyser (about 150 km away, 2 to 2.5 hours drive). Walk around and enjoy your packed breakfast while watching the sunrise. Soak in the open-air hot spring afterward. Drive another 50 minutes to Salvador Dali Desert to see Laguna Verde. You'll have a long drive back to Uyuni.
