Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech
You'll arrive in Marrakech and get settled at your hotel near the Medina. After dropping your bags, the afternoon and evening are open for you to wander around on your own. Head into the medina to check out Djemaa el Fna, which is the main square and marketplace where you'll find plenty of food stalls, performers, and shops. It gets really lively as the sun sets, so this is a good time to walk around, grab some food, and get a feel for the city.

- Day 2
Marrakech
This morning you'll take a guided tour through Marrakech's historic souks, walking through narrow medieval streets with vendor stalls, small shops, palaces, and madrassas tucked throughout. After lunch, the rest of the day is yours to explore however you'd like. You could check out Bahia Palace with its intricate tilework, visit the Saadian Tombs, or head to Jardins de Majorelle for some greenery and quiet. Later in the evening, you might grab dinner or drinks at one of the nicer cafes in the Hivernage neighborhood.

- Day 3
Marrakech to Ait Benhaddou
Early this morning you'll head out across the flat Haouz plain and start climbing into the rugged High Atlas Mountains. The drive takes you to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site perched on a hilltop along the Ouarzazate River. The fortress is really well preserved and you've probably seen it in films like Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth, and Gladiator. You'll have time to explore the clay buildings and narrow streets, then continue on to your hotel for the night.

- Day 4
Ait Benhaddou to Marrakech
Today you'll drive deep into the Atlas Mountains to reach the Palace of the Glaoui in Telouet, an old mud brick residence that once belonged to the powerful Glaoui Tribe. The palace has beautiful marble and cedar decoration inside, though parts are in ruins now. It's got quite a story attached to it. After exploring, you'll head back toward Marrakech, crossing through the Tizi n Tichka pass and arriving back at your hotel in the evening.

Marrakech
Your trip wraps up today. After breakfast and checking out of your hotel, you'll have a transfer included to Marrakech Airport for your onward flight. Give yourself enough time before departure to grab anything you might need at the airport.
