- Kevin· February 1st, 2023Booked the Footsteps of the Buddha tour with them. Communication with Amit prior to the trip is extremely efficient. During the trip, we had a driver and tour guide (which was more like an escort than a guide as he was unfamiliar with most of the places). The guide also spoke very limited english, which was disappointing. Also, though some of the places were quoted in the itinerary, we were asked to hire a local guide/transport once we were at that place (this was not mentioned in any communication prior to the trip). We had the impression that everything quoted in the itinerary would already been paid for and not that we have to fork out our own money once we were there. Towards the end of the trip, the guide also openly requested for tips!Show more

Our driver Ramesh was very friendly and had been doing Buddha tour from long time. The itinerary takes you to the key destinations where Buddha lived and gave his sermons in his life. All the places visited are rural parts of India and this trip is a spiritual experience where you get ample time to understand Buddhism. International and domestic flights you have to book it by yourself. You have to book your international flight to Delhi and domestic flight Delhi to Lucknow for next day.

Please book Air India Flight. AI 431 at 12:20 Hrs from Delhi and Arrive Lucknow at 13:30 Hrs. Better to book tickets in advance as last-minute availability is subject to change and air fare also getting very expensive.
