Itinerary
- Day 1
Madrid to Porto
You'll start by leaving Madrid and heading to Avila, where you get time to walk around the medieval walls and old town. After that, it's on to Salamanca, a UNESCO World Heritage city known for its architecture and art. You'll have free time there to wander around on your own. Then you'll cross into Portugal and arrive in Porto for the night.

- Day 2
Porto
After breakfast, you'll take a panoramic tour of Porto that includes the Cathedral, Stock Exchange building, and Santa Clara church. Later, you'll board a BlueBoats cruise along the Douro River to see the city from the water. Following that, you visit a Port Wine cellar for a tasting. The rest of your day is free to explore however you like.

Porto to Fatima
You'll head to Coimbra after breakfast, a city with one of Europe's oldest universities and strong ties to Fado music. You get free time to see it on your own. Then it's on to Fatima, where you'll visit the Basilica and the Cova da Iria, the site where the Virgin Mary appeared. The Chapel of the Apparitions holds the tombs of the three shepherds. If you're interested, there's an optional candlelit procession in the evening.

- Day 4
Fatima to Lisbon
Following breakfast, you'll see the Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site with Gothic and Manueline architecture. Next, you reach Nazare, a fishing town where you have free time to explore. After that, you visit Alcobaca to see the 12th-century church and the tombs of Pedro and Ines de Castro before arriving in Lisbon for the night. There's an optional Fado show available in the evening.

Lisbon
After breakfast, you'll take a morning tour of Lisbon that covers the major areas and landmarks like Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, the Coach Museum, and other key sites. In the afternoon, you have time to explore on your own, particularly the Alfama Quarter with its narrow streets, old buildings, and traditional spots where Fado music plays.

Lisbon to Cordoba
You'll leave at 07:30 after breakfast, heading to Caceres, a UNESCO World Heritage city with Roman, Islamic, Gothic, and Renaissance architecture mixed together. You walk through the Plaza Mayor and the Medieval Quarter of the Old Town. Then you continue on to Cordoba, which used to be the capital of the Caliphate. You'll have dinner and stay at your hotel there.

- Day 7
Cordoba to Seville
Breakfast comes first, followed by a tour of Cordoba's Mosque and other significant sites. You'll stroll through the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter to get a feel for the historic atmosphere. In the afternoon, after a two-hour drive, you arrive in Seville. Dinner and overnight accommodation are at your hotel.

Seville
Following breakfast, you'll take a morning panoramic tour visiting the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter's in Rome. You'll see the Santa Cruz Quarter and visit Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de Espana. The afternoon is yours to discover more of Seville on your own. Dinner and accommodation are at your hotel, and there's an optional Flamenco tour available.

Seville to Granada
After breakfast, you'll drive east through Andalusia past olive groves on the way to Granada. There you'll visit the Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens, the last Moorish stronghold until 1492. These were the inspiration for Washington Irving's 'Tales of the Alhambra'. Dinner and accommodation are at your hotel. An optional Gipsy Flamenco show at Sacromonte Quarter is available.

Granada to Valencia
You'll head east toward the Mediterranean after breakfast, passing through Murcia and then continuing north via Alicante. You arrive in Valencia, a major Mediterranean port and the birthplace of paella. The city's main attraction is the Arts and Sciences complex with its six modern buildings including the Hemispheric and Science Museum. You'll stay at your hotel.

- Day 11
Valencia to Barcelona
After breakfast, you'll take a morning city tour of Valencia, driving through the old city and along the historic Turia riverbed to see the Arts and Sciences complex. In the early afternoon, you head north along the coast toward Catalonia, passing through Tarragona, the ancient Roman city. You arrive in Barcelona, the Mediterranean hub and home to architect Gaudí's modernist works. Accommodation is at your hotel.

Barcelona
Following breakfast, you'll explore Barcelona on a morning city tour. You'll drive along major avenues seeing modernist buildings like La Pedrera and Casa Mila, both UNESCO sites. Montjuic Park offers city views, the Olympic Ring, Columbus Monument, and the Olympic Port from 1992. The afternoon is free to continue discovering Barcelona and its food scene. Accommodation is at your hotel.

Barcelona to Madrid
After breakfast, you'll head southwest through industrial and agricultural areas toward Zaragoza, the capital of Aragon on the Ebro River. The city was known as Cesar Augusta during Roman times and played an important role in Spanish history. You'll have free time to see the Basilica-Temple of Our Lady Pilar with its Baroque architecture, then continue on to Madrid.
