Casablanca
You'll get picked up at the airport and head to your hotel in Casablanca. Once you're settled in, spend the morning walking through United Nations Place and Mohamed V Square to get a feel for the city. In the afternoon, check out the Central Market and the Habous Quarter where you can see the Royal Palace and Hassan II Mosque from different angles. Head to Rick's Cafe by the marina for dinner with views of the water.

Casablanca to Chefchaouen
After breakfast, your driver picks you up for the drive to Chefchaouen. You'll stop in Rabat, Morocco's royal capital, and then swing through Asilah to see the colorful murals along the coast. By late afternoon you'll reach Chefchaouen. Once settled, the evening is yours to wander the blue-washed medina streets or head up to catch the sunset views over the city.

Chefchaouen
Eat breakfast early and then meet your local guide to head out to Akchour waterfalls. The hike through forested scenery takes about 3 to 4 hours, so you'll be back by lunchtime to eat in the medina. After refueling, your guide takes you on a 2-hour personalized tour of the city, adjusting the route based on what you want to see. Later in the day you'll have free time to walk around on your own.

Chefchaouen to Fes
Wake up early and head to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with some of Morocco's best-preserved Roman ruins. You'll walk through merchant homes with heating systems, temples, and colorful mosaics spread across the massive complex. By afternoon you arrive in Fes and get oriented with its three main areas: Fes el-Bali, Fes el-Jdid with its Jewish quarter, and Ville Nouvelle where the administrative buildings are located.

Fes
Your guide meets you for a 6-hour tour starting at the Royal Palace gates and moving through the Mellah. You'll visit hilltop forts for panoramic views and then head to the pottery quarter to see how blue pottery and tiled mosaics are made. Walking through the medina's narrow streets, you'll see metal workers, dyers, silk weavers, and the tanneries. You'll also visit grand mosques and medresas. The evening is free to explore restaurants, cafes, or bars on your own.

Fes to Merzouga
After breakfast, your driver heads toward Merzouga in the Sahara. Along the way there are optional stops to see Barbary Apes, visit Azrou and Ifrane, or learn about nomadic life. Once in Merzouga you'll get orientation on camel riding and gear up for the ride to a viewpoint for sunset. Later you'll have dinner in a restaurant tent at your desert camp and settle into a private tent with a bed and bathroom. Traditional music and dancing continue under the stars.

Merzouga to Todra Gorges
Rise early to catch the Sahara sunrise with morning tea or coffee. After breakfast, head to the village of Khamleya to experience traditional music and drumming. You'll then drive to Rissani's market and walk through the bustling shops, then continue into the desert toward Tinerhir where you can see neighboring villages and palm groves. The day ends at Todra Gorges, a series of limestone river canyons in the High Atlas Mountains. Dinner is traditional and served near the gorge.

Todra Gorges to Ait Benhaddou
Drive to Ouarzazate, a Sahara town set in a valley at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. Check out the 19th-century palace and museum about films shot in the region. Continue to Ait Benhaddou and explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village that looks like it did in the 11th century. Walk up to the top of the Kasbah to watch the sunset.

Ait Benhaddou to Marrakech
You'll drive over the Atlas Mountains via Tizi N'Tichka, the highest pass, stopping along the way to see Berber villages and take photos. Arriving in Marrakech by afternoon, settle into your accommodation in this red-walled imperial city. Later, meet your driver for a traditional Hammam experience where you'll relax in warm rooms and steam, then get a body scrub with black olive-oil soap. Afterward, explore Djemaa-el-Fna Square with its acrobats, storytellers, and performers, then grab dinner.

Marrakech
With a local guide, you'll visit several of Marrakech's gardens. Start with the Agdal Gardens and Royal Palace outside the old walls, then move to Menara Gardens with its olive groves and water basin. Pass through the modern Gueliz quarter to reach Majorelle Garden, a 1920s botanical garden now part of Yves Saint Laurent's estate. After returning to the medina on foot, check out Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and Koutoubia Mosque, then explore the souks. End the day with dinner and nightlife in the city center.

Marrakech to Imlil
Eat an early breakfast before heading to Imlil, a Berber village in the High Atlas Mountains surrounded by 13,000-foot peaks. Mount Toubka, North Africa's highest mountain, rises nearby. Your private guide leads you on a walking excursion through forests and hills with several viewpoints. You'll stop for lunch at a traditional Berber house and continue hiking through villages in the afternoon. Return to Imlil for a relaxed evening and dinner.

Imlil to Casablanca
Your return to Casablanca follows the scenic Atlantic coast. First stop is El Jadida, a seaside city with Portuguese architecture that blends North African and European influences. Spend time in the city center and along the beach, then continue to Casablanca. If you missed anything earlier, you can revisit United Nations Place, Mohamed V Square, or the Central Market. In the evening your driver takes you to Hassan II Mosque. Group tours are available for an extra fee. Spend your final night exploring medina cafes, restaurants, and bars.
