Itinerary
- Day 1
Colombo
Your driver will meet you when you land and take you to Colombo. Once there, you'll check out Gangaramaya temple with its golden spires and colorful decorations, then head over to Galle Face Green where locals gather by the ocean. It's a nice spot to walk around and get a feel for the city. After exploring, you'll have the rest of the evening to yourself at your hotel before settling in for the night.

Colombo to Udawalawa
After breakfast, you're heading to Udawalawa to visit the Elephant Transit Home, where you can see rescued elephants and learn about their care. From there, you'll have lunch before your afternoon jeep safari in Udawalawa National Park runs from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. You might spot wild elephants, buffalo, and various birds on the drive through the park. You'll stay overnight in Udawalawa.

Udawalawa to Galle
After eating breakfast, you'll transfer to Galle and start exploring the old Dutch Fort, walking along the ramparts that offer views of the coast. The town has a lot of Portuguese and Dutch architecture mixed throughout, so there's quite a bit to see. During the drive, you'll also get a chance to stop and watch the stilt fishermen do their thing in the shallow waters, which is a pretty cool part of the local fishing tradition. You're staying overnight in Galle.

Galle to Airport
You'll head to the airport based on your flight departure time. Your driver will help you get there with enough time to check in and get through security before you depart.
