- Day 1
Jackson to Yellowstone
A 3-hour shuttle gets you from Jackson to Yellowstone's northwest corner near the Gallatin Mountains. Once there, you'll help prepare the llamas and get oriented before heading out on a 6-mile hike through Fan Creek drainage. The route takes you past scenic meadows where moose often hang around the willow areas, so keep your eyes open. You'll camp above Fan Creek tonight and have a solid backcountry dinner to fuel up after the day's travel and hiking.
