You'll arrive in Washington DC and check in at your hotel. After that, there's a casual welcome meeting where you'll meet your guide, driver, and the other travelers on the tour. The rest of your evening is open, so you can head out and get a feel for the local music scene and atmosphere around the city.

Washington DC
This morning you'll cross the Potomac River into Virginia to visit Arlington National Cemetery, where America's fallen military are laid to rest. Back in DC, your guide takes you on a driving tour to see the Capitol Building, the White House, and other iconic monuments throughout the city. Your evening is free to do whatever you'd like.

Washington DC
Today is yours to spend however you want around Washington DC. You could walk through the tree-lined streets, climb up to the Lincoln Memorial, sit by the Reflecting Pool, or check out one of the many museums. Later tonight, you'll head to Logan Circle for dinner and entertainment.

You'll head out on the scenic Country Roads of West Virginia. The tour stops in the small town of Thomas for lunch and live music at the Purple Fiddle. After that, you'll drive on to Charleston, West Virginia for a three-night stay. Your evening includes live music at the amphitheatre, dinner at a local restaurant, and more live music at a popular venue.

Charleston, West Virginia
After breakfast, you'll visit the local Salt Works, which is a pretty unique attraction in the area. Then you'll head back to your hotel for a short rest before the live Mountain Stage Show, which has been running their radio broadcast since 1983. Later in the evening, you'll go to the Empty Glass for one of their famous jam sessions.

Charleston, West Virginia to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
After breakfast, the tour makes a stop at Carter Fold in Hilton, Virginia near the Tennessee border before heading to Pigeon Forge. This mountain town sits in the foothills of Great Smoky Mountain National Park and has some well-known attractions like Dollywood. You'll check in, get settled, and then head to Country Tonight Theater for an evening show.

You'll spend the whole day at Dollywood, the entertainment park known for its down-home feel and character. There are award-winning shows, mountain craft demonstrations, live music, and rides throughout the park. Your evening is open to catch another show, grab dinner, or wander around the Parkway and check out more attractions.

After breakfast, you'll travel to Gatlinburg for the day with time to explore the mountain town at your own pace. You can take the sky lift up to Ober Gatlinburg's four seasons world, or visit Wildlife Encounter to see black bears, otters, owls, and raccoons. The Village Shoppes and Mountain Mall are good spots if you want to pick up any last-minute gifts.
