Itinerary
- Day 1
Trebinje
Start your journey in the Trebinje region by heading to Blagaj monastery, where you'll get a sense of the area's religious heritage. From there, make your way to the Radimlja archaeological site to see what's been uncovered from past centuries. The Vjetrenica cave comes next and it's quite something to walk through, with its underground formations and passages. After that, stop by Zavala monastery and then visit a local winery to taste what the region produces. By evening, you'll settle into your accommodation in Trebinje.

- Day 2
Trebinje to Sarajevo
This morning you'll travel from Trebinje toward Sarajevo with some meaningful stops along the way. First, you'll visit Tvrdos monastery, then head to Visegrad to see the famous bridge that's a UNESCO World Heritage site. It's a notable structure with a lot of history attached to it. Later in the afternoon, you'll arrive in Sarajevo where you have free time to wander around the city on your own before checking into your accommodation.

- Day 3
Sarajevo
Today focuses on Sarajevo's history and what the city has to offer culturally. Start by going to the Sarajevo Tunnel Museum to understand the city's wartime experience. After that, walk through the historic center and see the UNESCO-listed sites that define the area. You'll stop at the cathedral, then take the funicular up for panoramic views of Sarajevo spread out below you. This gives you a real sense of the city's layout and surroundings. Your accommodation stays in Sarajevo for the night.

Sarajevo to Travnik
You'll travel to Travnik today, stopping at significant historical landmarks on the route. First comes the Bosnian Pyramids landmark, which draws a lot of interest. Then you'll tour Vranduk fortress and see what remains of it. Before settling into your Travnik accommodation, you'll also explore Travnik fortress itself, which sits prominently in the town and offers perspective on the region's past.

- Day 5
Travnik to Mostar
Before heading back to Mostar, you'll check out the attractions around Travnik. The Jajce waterfall is quite impressive and worth the visit. The historical center of Jajce has UNESCO status and there's plenty to see walking through it. You'll tour Jajce fortress next, then visit Scit monastery and its museum to round things out. From there, you'll make the drive back to Mostar where your tour comes to an end.
