Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll arrive at Tribhuban International Airport and get driven to Hattiban Resort in the southern Kathmandu valley, which takes around 1.5 hours. The drive itself shows off nice views of the valley. Kathmandu has seven World Heritage Sites and over 130 historical monuments scattered throughout, including Kasthamandap on Darbar Square and major temples like Pashupatinath and Boudha Stupa that you'll want to see during your stay.

Kathmandu to Chitwan
A 5-hour drive brings you to Chitwan, a wildlife-rich area known for rhinos, elephants, and Royal Bengal Tigers. After lunch at your hotel, you'll take an afternoon bullock cart ride through the nearby Tharu village. Later, as the sun sets, you'll walk along the Rapti River banks and then catch a cultural performance from the Tharu people in the evening.

Chitwan
This whole day focuses on wildlife safari in Chitwan National Park. You'll do an elephant safari through the natural terrain, go on a jungle walk with expert guides, and take a canoe ride down the Rapti River. Keep an eye out for gharials, rhinos, bears, deer, leopards, and the Royal Bengal Tiger as you move through the park.

Landmarks/POIs Chitwan National Park - Day 4
Chitwan to Pokhara
Start with bird watching in Chitwan's forests to look for rare species like the endangered Bengal Florican, grey crowned Prinia, swamp Francolin, and grass warblers. After that, you'll drive to Pokhara, which is a tranquil natural destination. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and taking in the natural setting around you.

Pokhara to Tikhedhunga
A private car takes you 2 hours to Nayapul, a small village with views overlooking the Machhapuchhre summit. From there, you'll start trekking toward Tikhedhunga village, which heads toward Annapurna Base Camp. The trek provides great views of the Machhapuchhre peak and nice landscapes. You'll stay overnight at Tikhedhunga.

Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
You'll trek through stone steps lined with vibrant pine and oak trees. Rhododendron blooms show up in March and April if you're visiting then. Walking through Ulleri village, home to Gurung and Magar ethnic groups, then Banthunti and Nangethunti villages, you'll eventually arrive at Ghorepani, a popular tourist spot with camping facilities. Overnight at Ghorepani.

Ghorepani to Gandruk
An early 45-minute hike gets you to Poon Hill. From the summit, you'll see across the Annapurna range with roughly 20 Himalayan peaks visible, including Machhapuchhre, Annapurna, Manaslu, Dolpo, and Dhaulagiri. You'll also catch distant views of Pokhara and Mustang. After heading back to Ghorepani for refreshments, you'll trek 7 hours to Gandruk, a Gurung village, where you'll stay overnight.

Gandruk to Pokhara
Trek about 4 hours back to Nayapul, then drive to Pokhara. You'll spend the rest of the day relaxing and recovering from trekking activities. Rest comfortably overnight in town.

Pokhara to Nagarkot
Fly domestically to Kathmandu, then drive to Nagarkot hill station at the edge of the Kathmandu valley. Settle into your hotel where you'll have grand views of the mountain ranges surrounding the valley. Nagarkot is known for nice sunset and sunrise views set among high mountains.

Nagarkot to Bhaktapur
Start early to see the sunrise at Nagarkot View Point, where you can spot Mount Everest, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and roughly 13 Himalayan ranges total. Then travel to Bhaktapur City, home to the indigenous Newari people. The city has ancient architecture and temples that serve as holy shrines for both Hindus and Buddhists.

Landmarks/POIs Nagarkot View Point Mount Everest - Day 11
Chandragiri Hill
Head to Chandragiri Hill station and choose between hiking or taking a gondola cable car ride to the summit. You'll get comprehensive views of Himalayan ranges including Everest, Annapurna, and Manaslu. After that, visit the large Buddha statues at Swayambhunath, the monkey temple. Finish by exploring Durbar Square to see the history and earthquake effects in the area.
