- Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
A representative from Ancient Egypt Tours will meet you at the airport and drive you to your Cairo hotel. Check-in happens at 14:00, so if your flight arrives earlier, the hotel can hold your luggage while you wait or you can arrange an extra night beforehand. Later in the evening, there's an option to book a Sound and Light show if spots are still available.

- Day 2
High Dam and Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan
Start with breakfast at your Luxor hotel, then your personal guide takes you to the High Dam. This engineering structure, finished in 1970, controls the Nile's water flow and produces power for the region. After that, you'll see the Unfinished Obelisk, which historians link to Queen Hatshepsut. If completed, this massive stone would have reached about 42 meters tall, making it the largest ancient obelisk ever attempted. The drive back to your Aswan hotel happens in the late afternoon.

Landmarks High Dam Unfinished Obelisk - Day 3
Edfu Temple and Kom Ombo Temple
Breakfast comes first at your hotel, then your guide takes you to Edfu Temple, the second largest temple in all of Egypt. Built starting in 237 BC during the Ptolemaic period, it's devoted to Horus, the falcon god. From there, you'll travel to Kom Ombo Temple, which sits on higher ground above the Nile. This temple stands out because it honors two gods at once—Sobek, shown as a crocodile, and Haroeris, another form of Horus. You'll head back to your Aswan hotel by evening.

Departure from Aswan
Have breakfast on the train before heading to the airport for your flight. Your Ancient Egypt Tours representative will pick you up and handle your transfer. Timing depends on your flight type: plan for pickup 4 hours before if you're flying internationally, or 3 hours before for domestic routes.
