Itinerary
- Day 1
Rome
You'll arrive in Rome and check in from 3:00 pm onward. If your flight gets in early, drop your bags at the hotel and start wandering around the city. At 5:00 pm, meet your tour leader for a welcome briefing and evening orientation walk. You'll head past the Colosseum and Roman Forum as the sun sets, then wrap up with traditional Roman dinner at a cozy trattoria.

- Day 2
Rome
This morning starts with an orientation walk through Rome's historic streets, taking you past Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain. From there, you'll head to Vatican City where you can explore St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums on your own or join an optional guided tour if you'd prefer more details. Later in the evening, you're free to wander Rome's piazzas and grab dinner at a trattoria.

- Day 3
Rome
Today is entirely yours. Wander through neighborhoods like Trastevere, shop along Via del Corso, relax in one of Rome's parks, or revisit spots you really enjoyed earlier in the trip. If you want something more structured, optional activities are available, but the day is really about moving at your own pace.

- Day 4
Rome to Sorrento via Pompeii
You'll board a high-speed train to Naples, then continue down to Pompeii, a UNESCO site with well-preserved ruins of villas, temples, and theaters. Entry is included, and you can either walk through on your own or join a guided tour for more context. By late afternoon, you'll arrive in Sorrento for an orientation walk through this charming coastal town.

- Day 5
Capri Island
Set sail from Sorrento on a boat trip across clear water to Capri. Once there, you'll explore at your own pace, wandering through streets, relaxing on beaches, or visiting the famous Blue Grotto. An optional chairlift to Mount Solaro is available if you want views from above. Later, you'll swim in a natural Roman pool overlooking the coast and watch the sunset with a drink.

Sorrento to Amalfi - Positano - Sorrento
You'll travel along the Amalfi Coast, seeing dramatic cliffs and turquoise waters along the way. Spend a couple hours in Amalfi exploring the cathedral or relaxing on the beach. After that, continue to Positano, known for pastel-colored houses built down the cliffs. Stroll through winding streets and take a swim, then return to Sorrento for a relaxed evening.

- Day 7
Sorrento to Naples to Florence
Head north to Naples and join a guided orientation walk from Piazza del Plebiscito past the grand San Carlo Theatre. Grab authentic Neapolitan pizza for lunch. In the afternoon, board a high-speed train to Florence. After checking in, your guide takes you through the historic center to see the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, and Ponte Vecchio. Spend your evening exploring Florence on your own.

- Day 8
Florence to Tuscany - San Gimignano - Florence
Leave Florence and drive into the heart of Tuscany through rolling hills dotted with vineyards and olive groves. You'll visit a local winery to learn about winemaking and taste Chianti wines while taking in countryside views. Next, continue to San Gimignano, known for its medieval towers. Walk through narrow streets and check out artisan shops before heading back to Florence in the late afternoon.

Then continue to Cinque Terre on the coast, a UNESCO site with colorful villages like Riomaggiore, Vernazzo, and Manarola built on cliffs. Stroll through narrow lanes, explore shops, or walk coastal trails for views. Have fresh seafood or local white wine overlooking the sea before returning to Florence.

Whether you're into art, history, or just soaking in the city's character, you can explore museums and cultural sites at your own pace. Optional guided tours and activities are available if you want more structure to your day.

Florence to Venice
Board a train north to Venice. After checking in, begin an orientation walk from Ponte degli Scalzi, your first look at Venice's winding canals. You'll navigate through streets and bridges to reach Piazza San Marco, St. Mark's Basilica, and the Doge's Palace. Once the tour wraps up, the evening is yours to explore Venice at your own pace, wandering over bridges or dining by the canals.

Venice - Murano, Burano, Torcello Islands
You'll have a free morning in Venice to do whatever you'd like. In the afternoon, take a 4-hour boat tour to Murano, Burano, and Torcello. Explore colorful houses and glass factories, learning about the handcrafts that made these islands famous, particularly Murano glass and Burano lace made right in front of you. The evening is free back in Venice for you to relax.

Farewell Venice
Check out before 10:00 am. You can store your luggage at reception and spend a few final hours wandering Venice's streets, grabbing an espresso by the canals, or revisiting favorite spots. If you need to travel onward, fast-speed train tickets can be arranged. Contact the tour operator ahead of time if you'd like to extend your stay or explore elsewhere.
- End point
- Mestre, Venezia, Venice, Italy (On the last day check out is at 10:00am and there are no other activities planned. The tour ends in Venezia Mestre, 07:00 - 10:00)
