- Justin· July 31st, 2025A once in a lifetime type trip filled with great memories! You are able to see all of the best spots of Italy and observe different cultures and foods, meet different people, and explore the beauty of Italy for yourself. Grazia was a one of a kind type tour guide. She made an amazing trip that much better. She was incredibly intelligent, thoughtful, always had a smile, and the list goes on and on. Thank you Grazia and Italy on a Budget!Show moreTrip date: July 2025

- MBMcKensey· July 4th, 2025We booked the Mama Mia trip and had an amazing experience! Italy on a Budget is a company that truly cares about their travelers, especially Anastasia who works in the office. They were easy to work with and were flexible in helping tailor the trip to our wants and needs. The trip was well-organized and managed, eliminating much of the stress that comes with traveling. What made the trip for us was that we had the best tour leaders: Elisa, Giovanni and Lorenzo. They introduced us to the locals favorite spots and helped us get the most out of our time in each location by making sure we were safe and guiding us through busy train stations and cities. Each one of them love what they do and are truly outstanding in their field. We not only got to see amazing new things, but we also got to learn and appericate the Italian culture through our travel leaders. We felt a great sense of community throughout are time here and are grateful for our travel leaders that looked out for us as we were away from home. Book the trip!!Show moreTrip date: July 2025

- DDenise· September 15th, 2024Spent three nights in sorrento. Went to Amalfi coast, positano, capri, Pompeii. It was amazing! Beautiful destinations and enough time to explore. Our guide Giovanni was wonderful, patient, and super helpful. He gave us tips, recommendations, and helped us with buses, etc. The company was also very quick to respond and help me with directions on how to meet the group after my train was delayed and I needed to meet them separately. - Italy on a Budget ToursOperator•Written June 2025
Our Mamma Mia tour is primarily designed for travelers aged 18–39, with accommodations in shared rooms at hostels and bungalows, offering a youthful and social travel experience. However, we're happy to let you know that we offer a wonderful alternative with a very similar itinerary—The Best of Italy tour. This tour is ideal for adult travelers of all ages. It includes centrally located hotel accommodations, visits Milan in addition to all the other destinations featured on the Mamma Mia tour, and comes with a few extra inclusions for added comfort.

Asked on May 13th, 2025I am interested in this tour but I won't be able to get to Rome until June 10 afternoon due to travel contraints on my end. If I was to miss the first day and a half, would you reduce the rate I paid? Alternatively, are there other tours you suggest that cover similar places? I've already been to Rome and Venice 15 years ago. I'd rather see Rome again than Venice if that helps with suggesting alternate tours.
- Italy on a Budget ToursOperator•Written May 2025
if you wish to join the tour from the 10th June it is possible. We can apply a € 150 reduction per person of the tour price. You will miss at the end only 1 night accommodation in Rome, 1 welcome dinner and the orientation walk with our tour leader the morning of day 2. Would this work for you? At the moment the departure is confirmed so feel free to book it.

Asked on May 11th, 2025I just graduated college and am trying to plan a last-minute family trip this summer. The itinerary for this trip looks absolutely incredible and highlights all of the places in Italy I would like to see. I see that the private room options only accommodate 2 people, and we have 3. Is there anyway to book one private room for 3 people? It is just me and my parents. I can sleep on the floor or a couch, I just don't think booking a separate room for just me is necessary nor do we want to do that. Is this an option?
- G

Traveler•Written May 2025When you reach the end of the booking it says meals are included. After reading the itinerary, it seems like the meals are not included. How many meals are actually included in the price? It seems like each time we have a meal it says "at your own pace" or "free time" although this trip is advertised as meals included.
- Italy on a Budget ToursOperator•Written May 2025
Yes, the three of you can absolutely select the private room option and be allocated together in the same room with private services. We'll make sure the accommodation fits your needs so you can stay comfortably with your parents. No need for an extra room! The meals included in the price are: Welcome dinner in Rome, Welcome drink with snacks in Florence, Wine and olive oil tasting in Tuscany. Any other meals mentioned during the trip, such as lunch or dinner during free time, are not included and give you the flexibility to explore local cuisine at your own pace & budget.

Asked on April 29th, 2025I'm interested in a tour the one I was looking at was the mamma Mia. What is the cost? It says it's on sale AU$3000 then when I check availability the price jumps to AU$5000. The other question is with the age. I am 50. Does this matter? The age group says 18 to 39? I don't really want to be with a group 50+.
- Italy on a Budget ToursOperator•Written April 2025
We offer holiday packages for all ages and price can vary depending on the departure date & room type.
