Kathmandu
You'll arrive at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and get transferred to your hotel. This is where your 14-day trekking adventure starts, so take the evening to settle in and rest up.

Landmarks Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport - Day 2
Kathmandu to Pokhara
Your guide picks you up early and walks you 10 minutes to the tourist bus station in Thamel. From there, it's a scenic 7-hour bus ride to Pokhara, the city of lakes. Spend your afternoon exploring the town or relaxing at the hotel.

Landmarks Thamel - Day 3
Pokhara to Hile
After breakfast, you'll drive about 2 hours to Nayapul where the actual trekking begins. You descend to Modi Khola, cross the river, and get views of Machhapuchhre from the Modi Khola bridge. Then trek uphill for 3 to 4 hours to reach Hile for the night.

Landmarks Machhapuchhre Modi Khola - Day 4
Hile to Ghorepani
Trek through Tikhedhunga and then Ulleri (1,960m), which is famous for its 3,000 plus stone staircases. The hike continues uphill for about 7 hours through oak and rhododendron forests. You'll pass through areas where Brahmin, Chhetri, and Magar people live before reaching Ghorepani (2,860m).

Landmarks Ulleri Ghorepani - Day 5
Ghorepani to Tadapani
Start at 4:00 AM and hike to Poonhill (3,210m) to catch the sunrise over South Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. After breakfast back in Ghorepani, continue climbing through pine and rhododendron forests along the ridge. You'll pass Deurali (3,000m) on your way to Tadapani (2,610m).

Tadapani to Sinuwa
Trek downhill for 6 to 7 hours through rhododendron forests and Gurung villages where you can see their traditional lifestyle. Stop for lunch at Chhomrong (2,140m) with views of Annapurna South and Himchuli, then climb to Sinuwa Village for the night.

Sinuwa to Himalaya Hotel
After breakfast, you'll trek for 5 to 6 hours on strenuous terrain. The route takes you down to Chhomrong Khola, across the river, then through dense forests before descending to the gorge at Dovan. A short uphill climb brings you to Himalaya Hotel (2,900m).

- Day 8
Himalaya Hotel to Annapurna Base Camp
Trek for about 6 hours to reach Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m), also called Annapurna Sanctuary. You'll stop for lunch at Machhapuchchhre Base Camp along the way. By evening, you're surrounded by mountains with spectacular sunset views of the Himalayan peaks.

- Day 9
Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
Enjoy the morning mountain scenery, then trek down to Bamboo village by retracing your route. The descent is about 1,700m along the Modi Khola river to Bamboo (2,345m). Spend the afternoon exploring this beautiful village.

- Day 10
Bamboo to Jhinu Danda
After breakfast, make a steep climb to Kuldi Ghar, then trek to Sinuwa and climb stone steps to Lower Chomrong. Continue up a thousand stone steps to Chhomrong, then descend the steep trail to Jhinu Danda. There are natural hot springs about 20 minutes from Jhinu Danda you can visit.

After relaxing in the hot springs, trek for 5 to 6 hours to reach Pothana. The route goes down to Modi Khola, crosses the river, and passes through villages like Landrunk and Tolka. You'll walk through oak forests with good Himalayan views and have time to explore traditional villages and catch the sunset.

Pokhara to Kathmandu

Kathmandu to Airport
Your Annapurna Base Camp trek comes to an end today. A representative from Sherpa Expedition and Trekking Team will pick you up 3 hours before your flight departure and take you to the airport.
