Itinerary
- Day 1
San Salvador
You'll arrive in El Salvador and get transferred to your hotel in San Salvador. Once you're settled, the evening is yours to explore. Several local spots are worth checking out like Multiplaza, Gran Via, or Paseo El Carmen if you're in the mood for shopping or entertainment.

- Day 2
Juayúa/Ataco
This morning starts with a hike up Santa Ana Volcano, the largest volcano in the country. The trail is moderately challenging, so you'll want to be in decent shape. After reaching the summit, you'll head down to Coatepeque Lake and then drive to either Juayúa or Ataco for the night.

Apaneca - Ataco
Mid-morning you'll take a walk around Monterrey Cascades. From there, it's a short drive to the towns of Apaneca and Ataco where you'll have time to wander around and see what each place has to offer on your own.

Tamanique Waterfalls
Early morning departure at 7:30 AM toward Tamanique. The hike to Tamanique Waterfalls covers about 5 km and takes you down into a canyon where the falls are located. Bring your swimsuit so you can take a dip. After hiking, you'll get driven back to the hotel and have the rest of the afternoon free.

Playa El Tunco/Sunzal
Today's completely free. El Tunco Beach and El Zunzal are right across from where you're staying and draw surfers from around the world. You can walk to El Tunco Village to book a lesson or just relax by the water. Other options nearby include La Libertad's Fisherman's Wharf (10 minutes away), Denninger Park for bird watching (30 minutes), or going back to Tamanique Falls if you want another hike (45 minutes).

Departure
Head to the airport 3 hours before your flight departs. Your hotel checkout is at noon, so you'll need to arrange your transfer after that. This gives you time to pack and get to the airport without rushing.
