Itinerary
- Day 1
Quito
You'll start at 8 am with a guided walk through Quito's historic center. The Basilica of National Vow comes first, and then you can climb the Condor Tower to see the city spread out below you. After that, head over to Independence Square where the guide will walk you through Quito's history. The Society of Jesus Church is worth checking out for its gold interior, and San Francisco Church is nearby with its own interesting stories. By midday, take the cable car up for views of the Andes surrounding the city. In the afternoon, the Intiñan Museum and the Middle of the World monument are on your list, where you'll actually stand on the Equator line itself.
