  1. Day 1

    Broome to Fitzroy Crossing

    Leave Broome early and drive along the Gibb River Road through the Kimberley region. At Windjana Gorge, you'll see ancient marine fossils embedded in the gorge walls, then wade through Tunnel Creek to explore Western Australia's oldest cave system. The drive wraps up at your premium accommodation in Fitzroy Crossing.

  2. Day 2

    Fitzroy Crossing to Purnululu National Park

    Head to Purnululu National Park with a stop at the remote Yiyili community for an insider experience. There you'll visit an Indigenous art gallery and take a language class. After that, settle into your wilderness lodge and have another insider experience in the evening.

  3. Day 3

    Purnululu National Park

    Spend the full day exploring Purnululu National Park's highlights. You'll experience the natural acoustics of Cathedral Gorge with its vast amphitheatre of vibrant rock formations, then walk along Piccaninny Creek through unique landscapes. If you're interested, there's an optional helicopter flight available to see the park from above.

    Purnululu National Park to Kununurra

    Start with a hike to Echidna Chasm and wander through its otherworldly cleft, looking up at narrow cliffs reaching up to 200 metres high. Later you'll travel to Kununurra and check into your accommodation there.

  5. Day 5

    Kununurra to El Questro Wilderness Park

    The day is yours to relax in Kununurra, or you can optionally take a cruise on the Ord River if you prefer something active. In the late afternoon, you'll transfer to El Questro Wilderness Park for your evening stay.

  6. Day 6

    El Questro Wilderness Park

    Walk to Emma Gorge to find a natural oasis where you can swim beneath the gorge's waterfall, shaded by towering cliffs. Alternatively, choose a Chamberlain Gorge cruise instead if that appeals to you more.

    El Questro to Mitchell Plateau

    Get back on the Gibb River Road and turn off towards the isolated Mitchell Plateau. You'll stop at Drysdale River Station for lunch, then enter a remote area with Livistona palm forests, lookouts, waterfalls, and isolated swimming holes.

    Mitchell Plateau

    Spend the day walking through Mitchell Plateau experiencing its waterfalls and Indigenous rock art. A guided hike takes you to Little Mertens Falls to see rarely seen rock art, then continues to Big Mertens Falls. After that, visit the tiered Mitchell Falls and cool off with a swim in the natural pools above. There's also an optional helicopter flight if you want another perspective.

    Drysdale River to Bell Gorge

    Stop at Manning Creek for lunch in the shade of baob trees and take a refreshing dip in the water. From there, head to Galvans Gorge for a short walk to a natural waterhole for another swim before arriving at your wilderness lodge.

    Bell Gorge to Derby

    Return to the Gibb River Road and head to Bell Gorge, where cliffs surround a series of tiered waterholes. You can cool off with a dip at the top of the falls if you like. After Bell Gorge, travel to Derby for your final night's stay.

  12. Day 12

    Derby to Broome

    Visit the Boab Prison Tree, a significant tree measuring 14 metres wide and estimated to be more than 1,500 years old. It was once used by early police patrols as a holding point for prisoners. Later, head back to Broome where your trip concludes.

    Wally was a great tour leader ,always in charge with an easy manner .A joke and a story everyday .A great tour with lots to see, but a lot of coach travelling, good thing the coach was comfortable with good air con .

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 120 days prior to the departure date of your tour.
