Itinerary
- Day 1
Rome
You'll arrive in Rome and check into your hotel. There's nothing scheduled until the 5pm welcome meeting with your tour leader, so if you get in early, you can wander around on foot. The Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Vatican Museums are all options if you want to get a feel for the city before things officially kick off. Dinner with the group afterward is optional, so you can join in or grab something on your own.

- Day 2
Rome
Early morning means heading out for a walking tour through ancient Rome. You'll see the Colosseum first, then walk along the Sacred Way toward the Roman Forum and up to Palatine Hill. After lunch, the afternoon is yours to keep exploring at whatever pace you like. Grab an espresso at a café or try some gelato and just soak it all in.

Rome to Naples
This morning you'll take a fast train to Naples. Your tour leader takes you through the old city streets, showing you the markets and winding alleyways. Lunch is traditional Neapolitan pizza. In the afternoon, a charter bus takes you up Mount Vesuvius where you'll walk the cinder track to the crater rim for views looking back toward Naples and the bay, then head to your hotel in Pompeii for the night.

- Day 4
Pompeii to Amalfi Coast
An early start gets you to the Pompeii archaeological site right when it opens. Your guide walks you through the remarkably preserved Roman city, pointing out the forum, Temple of Jupiter, decorated villas, and the human casts left by the eruption. Afterward, you'll travel across the hills toward the Amalfi Coast, stopping in the clifftop village of Ravello on the way. You'll end up in Maiori, which has the largest beach along this stretch of coast.

- Day 5
Amalfi Coast
This morning you'll walk the Sentiero Dei Limoni, also called the Path of the Lemons, which goes from Maiori through terraced lemon groves, old staircases, and local alleyways to Minori. It's about 2.5 kilometres and takes roughly an hour with stops. From there, a ferry takes you along the coast to Amalfi where you can see the Cathedral of Saint Andrea and the Valley of the Mills. The rest of the day is free, and you can optionally take a bus or ferry to Positano if you want.

- Day 6
Amalfi Coast to Sorrento
Today you'll travel along the spectacular Amalfi Coast road to Sorrento, a drive that hugs cliffs and coves with incredible views the whole way. Once there, you can walk through the historic centre with its narrow alleys, check out the 14th-century Chiesa di San Francesco and its quiet cloister, and see Piazzo Tasso in the main square. Later, you'll visit a local lemon grove to learn about the region's famous lemons and taste homemade lemon products and limoncello.

Sorrento
You have a free day to either relax on the Sorrento Peninsula or take a hydrofoil ferry to Capri (about 20 minutes each way). If you go to Capri, you can explore Anacapri and Capri town by private bus, visit the Villa San Michele museum and gardens, see Villa Jovis which are Tiberius' palace ruins, or take a boat out to the famous Blue Grotto sea cave.
