Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
You'll land at Tribhuvan International Airport where someone from the hotel meets you at arrivals. After collecting your luggage, a private vehicle takes you to your hotel for check-in. Once you're settled in your room, your tour guide stops by later to walk through what's coming up and answer any questions about the itinerary.
- Day 2
Kathmandu Sightseeing
This is a full day exploring Kathmandu's main cultural sites. Start at Kathmandu Durbar Square to see the historical monuments, Kumari Ghar, and Hanuman Dhoka. From there, head up to Swayambhunath temple on the hilltop for views across the valley. After grabbing lunch, you'll visit Pashupatinath Temple along the Bagmati River, then finish at Bouddhanath Stupa where Buddhist pilgrims walk around with prayer flags.

Patan Durbar Square and Nagarkot
Following breakfast, drive to Patan Durbar Square to explore the Krishna Temple and royal architecture showing traditional Newari culture. Then it's a 35 km drive northeast through farming villages and terraces to reach Nagarkot Hill Station. Check in to your hotel and settle in for sunset views with dinner from your room or the restaurant.

Nagarkot Sunrise and Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Get up early to catch sunrise from the hotel rooftop or Nagarkot View Tower, where you can see Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and on clear days, Everest in the distance. Have breakfast, then drive south to Bhaktapur Durbar Square to walk through medieval temples, palaces, and see more of the traditional Newar culture. You'll head back to the hotel by afternoon.

Flight to Chitwan National Park
After breakfast, head to the domestic airport for a 25-minute flight down to Bharatpur Airport in the warmer Terai plains. From the airport, transfer to your resort and check into your deluxe room. Rest a bit, then have lunch. In the late afternoon, take a walk around Sauraha and keep an eye out for one-horned rhinos. The evening brings a Tharu Cultural show followed by dinner.

Landmarks/POIs Chitwan National Park - Day 6
Chitwan National Park Activities
Spend the full day in Chitwan National Park doing an elephant safari and jungle walks to spot one-horned rhinos, Bengal tigers, deer, wild elephants, crocodiles, and different bird species. Visit the elephant and gharial breeding center to learn about conservation efforts. Afternoon activities include canoeing, bathing the elephants, a village walk, and checking out the Tharu Cultural Museum. Dinner and rest follow in the evening.

Flight to Pokhara
After breakfast, drive to Bharatpur airport and catch a flight to Pokhara. Check in at your hotel, rest for a bit, then head out for an evening sail on Fewa Lake at the Lakeside area. The atmosphere there is pretty touristy but nice for winding down after the wildlife focus of the past couple days.

Pokhara Lake and Mountain Views
Start with boating on Fewa Lake and visit the island temple in the middle. You can either hike through the forest on the southeast side up to World Peace Stupa and Pumdikot, or see Davis Falls and Gupteshwor Mahadev before driving up to the stupa. From either route, the views show snowcapped peaks like Machhapurchchhre and Annapurna, plus the whole Pokhara valley spread out below.

Return to Kathmandu
Wake up early for sunrise at Sarankot Hill to see the Himalayan ranges and Pokhara valley light up. After breakfast, drive to Pokhara airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. Once you check into your hotel, you'll have free time to wander through Thamel looking for souvenirs and exploring the streets. An evening farewell dinner wraps up the day.

Departure
