Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Bogota
You'll land at El Dorado International Airport and get picked up for a transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is open, so you can walk around Bogota on your own schedule. Try some local food at one of the outdoor spots around the city, or find a bar to grab a drink and settle in for your first evening.

- Day 2
Bogota
Get started early at Paloquemao Market where you'll see tons of fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and herbs while watching local life happen around you. From there, head over to La Candelaria and wander through the historic streets checking out landmarks like Plaza de Bolivar. Later, take a trip up Monserrate Hill to get some views of the city, then spend time in Museo del Oro and Museo de Botero learning about Colombian gold and artwork.

- Day 3
Bogota to Villa de Leyva
Drive north through residential areas and the fertile plateau heading to Zipaquira to see the Salt Cathedral with its three naves and sculptures inside. Stop by Satatausa's colonial church after that, then head to Raquira where you'll find pottery shops and a local clay factory to tour. Before finishing the day, visit Monasterio La Candelaria, then drive to Villa de Leyva arriving in the late afternoon.

Villa de Leyva to Zona Cafetera
Take a walk through Villa de Leyva this morning, looking at the preserved colonial buildings with their wooden balconies, arches, and brass-covered doors dating back to 1572. After lunch, you'll drive back to Bogota airport to catch a flight down to the Zona Cafetera region.

- Day 5
Zona Cafetera
Spend the full day exploring Colombia's coffee culture with a guide. You'll check out Filandia's colonial layout and Plaza de Bolivar, then try local liquor at a traditional fonda before heading to Colina Iluminada viewpoint overlooking the coffee triangle. Next, go into Cocora Valley where you'll try canelazo cocktail, walk through misty forest learning about how the area's protected, plant your own wax palm in a ceremony, have smoked trout for lunch, and end in Salento looking at old buildings and browsing shops.

- Day 6
Zona Cafetera to Cartagena
After breakfast, head to Armenia for a shared tour of Hacienda Combia coffee farm with nine stops showing you how coffee grows, the environmental setup, and technical details. You'll have lunch there, then visit a botanical and butterfly garden covering ten hectares of Andean forest with 180 butterfly species and tons of plant and bird varieties. Take a walking tour of the gardens, then transfer to the airport for your flight to Cartagena.

- Day 7
Cartagena
Walk through colorful Cartagena and its colonial streets with horse-drawn carriages around. Your tour starts at the 17th century Convento de la Popa on a hilltop, goes to the Castillo de San Felope fortress built in the 1600s, then through La Bovedas where you'll see 23 18th-century vaults now housing craft stalls. You'll wander colonial streets looking at old houses, balconies, and plazas. Later this afternoon, join a walking food tour hitting seven spots for tastings and learning about the city's culture and history.
