Itinerary
- Day 1
Bogotá
You'll land at Bogotá El Dorado International Airport and get picked up for free to head to your hotel. Once you're settled in, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the city and get a feel for things at your own pace.
- Day 2
Bogotá
After breakfast, you'll start exploring Bogotá's historic center at Plaza de Bolívar, walking through colonial landmarks like the National Capitol, Casa de los Comuneros, and Casa de Nariño. Next you'll head to the Gold Museum, which holds over 34,000 indigenous goldsmithing pieces from across South America. Then it's on to the Botero Museum before taking a cable car or funicular ride up Monserrate Hill for views across the entire city and a visit to the Sanctuary of the Fallen Lord.

Bogotá to Medellín
After breakfast, you'll transfer to El Dorado Airport for your flight to Medellín. Once you land at José María Córdova International Airport, someone will help you through arrival and get you to your hotel. The afternoon is free, so you can start checking out Colombia's most innovative city on your own schedule.

Medellín
After breakfast, a panoramic city tour takes you through Medellín's main spots including El Poblado Park, the Golden Mile, Lleras Park, Plaza Mayor, Barefoot Park, La Alpujarra Administrative Center, Parque de la Luz, and Bolívar Park with its Metropolitan Cathedral. You'll also see the iconic Coltejer Building, check out Plaza Botero with 23 monumental sculptures, pass by the Atanasio Girardot Sports Complex, and explore Carrera 70 boulevard. The tour runs in the morning.

Medellín to Cartagena
After breakfast, you'll transfer to El Dorado Airport in Bogotá for your flight to Cartagena. Upon arrival at Rafael Núñez Airport, you'll get assistance and a transfer to your hotel. The afternoon is free to take in Cartagena's Caribbean atmosphere and relax.

Cartagena
After breakfast, you'll join a shared city tour in an air-conditioned vehicle through Cartagena Bay and the Manga neighborhood, which has beautiful Republican architecture. Then you'll visit San Felipe de Barajas fortress, the largest colonial military work in the Americas. From there, you'll move through the historic walled center with time to shop for crafts and walk through the old streets and squares.

You have a free day in Cartagena to do whatever you'd like. If you're interested, there's an optional Isla del Encanto Day Tour to the Rosario Islands (shared service, not included in your package) with approximately 28 islands featuring white-sand beaches and clear waters for relaxing and seeing Caribbean marine life.
