Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Bogotá
You'll be picked up at El Dorado International Airport and driven to your hotel in Bogotá. After you check in, the rest of the day is yours to relax and get settled before things get going tomorrow.



- Day 2
Bogotá City Tour
Start early at Paloquemao Market where you'll walk through stalls selling produce, cheese, seafood, and medicinal herbs, and try some local Colombian snacks. Then head to La Candelaria's colonial quarter to take photos and watch the activity around Plaza Bolivar. After that, take the cable car up Cerro de Monserrate to see the white Catholic Church standing up there. Later you'll visit the Gold Museum and spend time at Museo de Botero before heading back.

- Day 3
Bogotá to Villa de Leyva
You'll drive through Bogotá's residential areas heading toward Zipaquira to see the Stations of the Cross and Three Naves sculptures carved right into the salt mine tunnels. Next stop is Sutatausa's colonial church, then Raquira where you can visit a clay pot factory and see how traditional pottery gets made. Before the day ends, you'll tour the Monasterio La Candelaria convent and continue on to Villa de Leyva where you'll stay for the night.

- Days 4 - 5
Medellín Social Transformation Tour
This morning you'll do an eight-hour social transformation tour through Medellín's history, learning about the city's shift from its drug trafficking period in the 1980s and 90s to what it is today. You'll see Monaco Building, La Virgen de los Sicarios, and visit Pablo Escobar's Tomb in the Central Cemetery. The tour includes time at various parks and museums, a cable car ride through the city, and ends with bar-hopping in one of Medellín's popular neighborhoods.

- Day 6
Medellín to Zona Cafetera
You'll drive south through Aburra Valley following the historic coffee transport route that connected Medellín to the Andean West region. Coffee plantations cover the hillsides along the way. The drive takes you to Jardin where you'll get a guided tour of the town, learning about its history and checking out the main sights there.

- Day 7
Filandia, Cocora Valley, Salento
Start by walking through the colonial streets of Filandia village, then head to Quindio's Viewpoint for views across the Coffee Triangle region. After that, you'll go to Cocora Valley to see the wax palm, Colombia's national tree. You'll have canelazo and then hike through the misty forest where someone shows you different plants and what they're used for. Part of the experience includes planting your own wax palm as part of conservation work. The evening is free to explore restaurants and small shops in Salento.

Zona Cafetera to Cartagena
You'll have a hearty breakfast, then head to Haciendia Combia for a hands-on coffee tour where you'll learn how coffee gets grown and processed. After lunch, visit Quindio's Botanical & Butterfly Garden which has hundreds of different plants and butterflies flying around. From there, you'll transfer to the airport for your flight to Cartagena.

- Day 9
Cartagena City Tour
Your English-speaking guide will take you around Cartagena starting at Convento de la Popa, which sits at the city's highest point. You'll visit Castillo de San Felipe, the hilltop castle, then walk through the vaults of Las Bovedas. Later you'll do a tasting tour through some of Cartagena's best food and restaurants.
