Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive in the city and get settled at the hostel, or if you prefer to jump right in, spend some time on your own exploring. Later in the evening, you'll meet your CEO and the rest of the group before heading out to San Pedro neighborhood to grab food and drinks at some local spots.

San José to La Fortuna
This morning you're heading to La Fortuna with a couple of stops along the way. First up is Poás Volcano where you'll see the crater views, then you'll tour a community coffee cooperative to understand how coffee gets produced and try some local brews. Lunch is a typical meal of fresh tilapia with plantains and rice and beans, and after that you'll take a tortilla-making lesson. By afternoon you'll arrive in La Fortuna and check into the hostel.

La Fortuna
You've got the whole day to do what you want in La Fortuna. If you're into adventure, you can rappel down waterfalls or try whitewater rafting. Paddleboarding on Lake Arenal is another option, or if you'd rather take it easy, just hang out at the hostel with other travelers.

- Day 4
La Fortuna to Monteverde
Travel to Monteverde involves a few different modes of transport, so it's kind of a journey. You'll take a bus, then a boat across Lake Arenal, and then another bus through the scenic mountain landscape. Once you get to Monteverde and settle into the hostel, you'll head straight into the cloud forest for a canopy zip-lining experience.

Monteverde
This free day lets you explore Monteverde on your own schedule. Check out the hanging bridges if you want to spot birds and wildlife, or consider horseback riding through the area. There's also a butterfly garden to visit, and if you'd rather relax, grab a local craft beer back at the hostel with friends.

- Day 6
Monteverde to Liberia
You're heading to Volcán Tenorio National Park for a hike through the jungle to Rio Celeste waterfall and its natural pool. Keep watch for wildlife and birds along the way. Later in the afternoon you'll move on to Liberia, check into the hostel, and have the evening free to relax before heading to Nicoya Peninsula tomorrow.

Liberia to Nosara
First stop is Poza Los Coyotes, a lesser-known jungle spot with turquoise natural pools for swimming and trail exploring. You can rent a tube if you want to float through caves. After that, you'll head south down the Nicoya Peninsula to Nosara, a laid-back beach town. Check in at the hostel and spend the rest of the afternoon on the beach or walking around town.

Nosara
Playa Guiones is the main focus today, with its three-mile stretch of flat sand and solid surf waves. The water is warm and the beach doesn't get too crowded, so you'll have a nice time swimming and surfing. After that, spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hostel, watching the sunset, or continue exploring Nosara.

Nosara to Tamarindo
You're leaving the beaches and heading north to Guaitil, a small village known for Chorotega-style pottery. A local shop owner will teach you about the pottery-making traditions and show how pieces get crafted. You'll explore showrooms with finished products and grab lunch in town. Later you'll move to Tamarindo for the evening, check into the hostel, and get out to experience the beach town's nightlife.

Tamarindo
This morning includes a surf lesson at Tamarindo beach that's included with your tour. After that the day is yours to plan. Try zip-lining or kayaking in the nearby national park, go snorkeling, stay on the beach, or just hang out at the hostel with people you've met.
