Itinerary
- Day 1
Montevideo
You'll arrive at Carrasco Airport and connect with your driver for the transfer to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore Montevideo on your own schedule. Dinner arrangements are up to you.

Montevideo
After breakfast at your hotel, your driver picks you up for a 3-hour guided tour of Montevideo. You'll see the iconic Montevideo sign, tour Estadio Centenario, walk through Mercado Agricola, and spend time in Ciudad Vieja while learning about Uruguay's history and culture. By lunch time you're back at your accommodation.

Montevideo
Following breakfast, you'll head to a family-owned winery in the countryside, now run by the fourth generation. They'll start you off with welcome bubbles while explaining the winery's background, then guide you through the production areas and cellar. You'll taste Tannat, which is Uruguay's signature grape variety, and have a light lunch with wine included. You return to your hotel for the evening, with dinner on your own.

Colonia del Sacramento
After breakfast you travel to Colonia del Sacramento to see a UNESCO World Heritage site. On the way you'll stop at Plaza de Toros de San Carlos, a historic bullring that hosted eight fights before bullfighting was banned in 1912. Then you'll explore the Historic Plaza and the Old Fort area. Lunch is at your leisure before heading back to Montevideo for the evening. Dinner is on your own.

Punta del Este
You head out after breakfast toward Punta del Este with a stop at Casapueblo, an artist's former summer home and workspace that now houses a museum, gallery, and cafeteria. From there it's on to Punta del Este where you'll see the famous Hand in the Sand sculpture, the Lighthouse, and the Port. You'll also drive through upscale neighborhoods including Beverly Hills area before reaching La Barra beach town. Lunch is at your leisure, and you return to Montevideo for dinner.

After breakfast you visit a small boutique vineyard in the countryside. You'll start with a welcome drink in the park overlooking the vineyards, then tour the winery and cellar with the winemaker. Lunch features cheeses, cured hams, and empanadas paired with wine tastings, including Tannat. You return to your hotel to rest before your final evening, which includes a tango dinner with wine.
